Waiting 24 hours for a color match is like waiting 5 hours for a Big Mac, pathetic! Every employee in every Home Depot’s paint department can match color. It’s easy enough to learn, just ask the thousands of people who work in the paint department at Home Depot’s across America. Simply put, it’s poor management at this store. I also use the one up in San Jose, they do it within one hour max, usually while you wait!!!

Here’s a DIRTY little secret about Kelly Moore. They charge different customers different prices. Allow me to elaborate. Kelly Moore is a «wholesaler» meaning they are in business to sell to painting contractors. Painting contractors who have an actual account with Kelly Moore get decent prices. If you wander in off the street to buy paint and pay with cash or debit card you will pay around double what a contractor would pay for the same paint. This does not apply to the items in the front of the store: paint brushes, respirators, dickies clothes, paint thinner etc. The wholesale pricing schedule only applies to paint that is behind the counter(about 98% of all paint in the store). Just about any paint you buy from Kelly Moore will cost you double if you don’t have an account. How do you avoid paying double for your paint? There are two ways. One way is to open an account. It takes about 10 minutes. Once you have an account open you will have access to their wholesale pricing. Another way is to claim it is for somebody that does have an account there. Be sure to pay for the paint after they have entered somebody else’s account number. If you get them to charge some random painting contractor’s account for your paint you have just committed fraud. The tradeoff to all of this is that Kelly Moore paint is superior to any paint you will find at Home Depot or other hardware stores. On to this particular Kelly Moore location… I don’t care much for this Kelly Moore location. Every single time I come by here to have a color of paint mixed up it takes 24 hours and multiple phone calls to finally get the paint. It only takes 10 minutes to mix up paint, yet every time I come to this location everything gets screwed up and it takes days. If you are in a hurry this is definitely NOT the location for you.

Decent service but not a lot of selection in this huge warehouse like location. I went in to buy oil based paint and found that it was quite expensive.
