The most striking observation about Shelton’s Craft Kitchen was how different it is from anything around… It’s an original concept & the flavors are there to keep it going, long-term. Sizzling meats & veggies atop scorching hot stone: the creativity, alone, deserves recognition. If you’re tired of the same ol’, same ol’… Looking for a fresh, new way to eat healthy? Give Shelton’s a try; you won’t be disappointed! One Caveat: The smell of rubber from the bicycle rental business(next door, I’m guessing) is a tad off-putting, especially if you have a sensitive nose. If I were Shelton’s owners, I would use air filters to eradicate the industrial odors while simultaneously piping the mouthwatering aromas of the kitchen out to waiting diners!

Really enjoyed my filet, service was great and the bonus was froyo for the kiddos while we eat our food! Would most certainly come back the next time I’m in town.

Wonderful buffalo burger! Everything order by our table looked and tasted great. Our server, Kaitlin, was a delight, providing us with attentive service and answers to questions about the area. Will definitely be back when we return to this area.

Disappointing steak. I and two friends went here and we each got steaks. The stone thing is a fun idea, but that doesn’t work with bad cuts of meat. In fact, one friend’s cut smelled as if it had turned. I think they might have heated the rocks up from room temperature when we ordered, because the service took a while. The ‘_roots’ side dish was good, the couscous was not. It was a dry flavorless couscous. I will not go back.

First time at Sheltons. Had sirloin steak was very good. Just very good meat, high grade of beef. Little seasoning but did not need it as good piece of beef. Little salt and pepper made it very close to perfect. Fun to cook it yourself on the hot rock. Sides were very good as well. Service was very good and friendly. Yogurt was good typical toppings that kids loved. Group of six with two kids, no complaints at all. Look forward to my return.

Just moved to Searcy and tried this out with the girlfriend and some friends. The idea of the stone cooking your food is awesome, and I don’t think it could have been executed better. I got a pound of crab legs. I’m not a certified crab leg expert, but I have been eating crab legs for a while. Usually by the time you get around to eating the second half of your crab legs, you find that they’ve become cold. The heat from the stone overcooked the distal parts of each leg. The largers portions of the leg were fine though. The waiter informed me that I was the second customer to order them, so he was very interested in and receptive of my comments. Overall a pretty neat experience. I definitely plan on a return visit to try a steak or hamburger!

Hubby and I decided to try this place out. Service was good and the place was very clean. My husband got the bbq black angus sandwich and he loved it! I wanted to get the Rib Eye steak but unfortunately they ran out, so I got the New York Strip. So the cool thing about this place is that my steak came out on a hot rock. It comes out rare and you can cook it however you want it to be. My steak was really good and I’ve been craving a juicy steak and that craving was satisfied! Gave it a four star because in the description it said that they had Cheesesteaks but I didn’t see it in the menu because the hubby wanted it. Overall this place was really clean and the staff was very helpful. Definitely will come back! And their Fro-yo was awesome! I loved the salted caramel!

Upon first glance, this restaurant is trendy and inviting. The foot variety is small, burgers, steaks and frozen yogurt. However, the flavor and presentation is huge. The half-pounds black Angus burger is locally-sourced. The burger was thick, juicy and cooked well done. If you want your burger less than well, just ask! Multiple side choices. Potatoes, rice, salad, veggies and others! Standard fountain beverage choices round out this unique dining experience. Best for dinner. Or a frozen snack. Be careful with kids, the stone grills are 700° and can stay hot for up to two hours. Overall, a wonderful experience.
