I came across this shop on a drive home from San Antonio. We decided to make a stop, and found Anne’s Red Rose. Although this place is really unorganized(kind of scary) there is SOOO much stuff. There are tons of treasures you can find. You just have to search. They also don’t have valid times posted on their door. One time I drove out to their store and no one was there, no one answered a phone, and there were no open times. Overall, one of those thrift shops that you’re lucky to find.

I came to Sealy to bury my mother in law. She had tons of stuff and i thought it would be a great idea to donate some to the local thrift store since it was just down the road. I went in a couple of days ago to ask if they could come to the house and pick up donations. The owner Ann said the truck was filled so they could not but would appreciate me dropping them off. I gave her my number and asked that she call before closing so I wouldn’t miss her. She never called. I’m leaving to go back to SF tomorrow so I called & got her husband this time. They still have not unloaded their shit from the vehicle. Ok, this was days after my original call. Who rides around with stuff piled in the car? Again I asked them to call me before leaving. I went to the store at 5:05 since they close at 6. The sign still said open but they were gone. Again, no call. A lady in a truck saw me looking so she pulled over to tell me they had gone for the day. Duh! She showed me the back where I should unload everything. We went back again with more stuff. The original drop off wasn’t there because the lady in the truck was going to call & let her know. Did I get a call to say thank you or anything? These country ass people are a trip.

Back in the day this was my favorite thrift store. Now, don’t waste your time. They overpriced EVERYTHING and the owner is a bitch.
