I’m a regular here. Come about every week or so. Today I called in my order like I normally do and the gentlemen on the other line said it would be about 10 minutes. I get there about 15 minutes later, I pay, and I’m standing right by the counter waiting for my order. I notice a bag sitting on the other side of the counter but don’t say anything yet. Perhaps my order isn’t ready yet. There are two workers who completely ignore me after walking past me three-four times. After about 10 minutes just standing there the gentleman who rung me up and took my order over the phone approaches me and asks me if I’m waiting for anything. I tell him yes my phone order I placed about 30 minutes ago! And he turns around and hands me the bag that has been sitting there for 10+ minutes! I was in complete shock. I ask him why he didn’t give me the bag when I paid him. It was just sitting there nothing new added to the bag or anything! He said«Oh I’m sorry I must’ve just forgot». Are you kidding me??? I was so upset I asked to speak to a supervisor because that is just unacceptable in any business. I called ahead to not have to wait! The supervisor, a youngish girl gave me 1 free meal coupon for next time. This has got to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any Rubios. The service has gone down hill without a doubt. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Ate here this afternoon and everything was a bummer. The manager seemed super pissed off and angry. Stared me down every time I went to the salsa bar and was just super vibey from the get go. I’ve eater here, at this location, for over 10 years and never once had a bad meal but today was awful. I ordered the same thing I always do, baja burrito and fish taco. The taco was rank, bad fish. The burrito was nearly inedible. Every piece of steak was gristle so I got up to get a fork, got stared down by the angry manager, then went back to my seat to fork out all the steak. Place was totally empty Except for one other table. Guess I know why now. Overall it was a really weird experience and I’m sad this place has gone so downhill.

Pretty good and definitely fresh ingredients. The food had a nice kick to it too. I had a burrito and enjoyed it. The portion wasn’t too bad either, which was a nice change from usual places to eat. Like the option of outdoor seating!

I bought my 3 ½ year old a bean burrito kids meal at this location recently. She adamantly refused to eat her burrito after just a couple small bites, even though she usually eats at least half a burrito. I took a bite myself to show her it was good, and immediately spit it out. It was the most disgusting thing that I’ve ever tasted. It was literally rotten, like garbage. I don’t know what they put in it, or of the beans or cheese had just gone bad, but I was livid that they gave this to me to feed to my child. I will never eat at this location again.

Not a fan. Food tastes frozen and reheated. Not much favor. Clean place with nice people.

The food was delicious so congrats to them. But anyone can make good food, it’s the service that was horrible. They only had one register open so the line was out the door. And not because it was so busy but because the cashier kept talking on the phone. I probably waited 10 minutes in line. Then there was this lady doing nothing and it’s like why don’t u take the phone call so the cashier can help the people. Not impressed

This specific location is normally pleasant whenever I visit. I called to place an order today and spoke with a woman named Emilia I believe. Not only was she incredibly rude, but when I requested my shrimp to be blackened, she proceeded to tell me that she would have to ask her supervisor. When she came back to the phone, she said she could do it this once but she will not be able to do it in the future because they normally don’t do it. If you got the«ok» to do sown thing why must you say anything more than we’d be happy to do it? She had so much attitude in her voice and when I asked to speak to her manager, he all of a sudden wasn’t there. So who did she ask? The managers name is David and I will be calling to complain. Not only was this completely unnecessary but it was very unpleasant. Highly disappointed!

Worst service ever. Came a little after lunch and it took forever for our order to come out! Little did I know that they forgot to put our orders in so after waiting almost 30mins we just told them we didn’t want our food anymore and to just give us a refund. Ugh waste of time.

Oh, Rubio’s… I thought we were friends, but you’ve been letting me down recently. About a month ago I ordered a California Bowl with Shrimp to go and brought it home, ready to dig in, only to find no shrimp. Nope, not one. Normally, I would just let it go, but I paid extra for that darn shrimp! Drove back over and the two girls working the counter looked bothered that I interrupted their conversation, but took my order back with a grumbled sorry. Today I found myself ready to forgive them and headed over for another California Bowl with Shrimp to go. This time the guy working the counter was super friendly and I didn’t even think to check my order until I was already driving home. Nope, still no shrimp. This time they gave me chicken instead. My bad for not checking the order, but come on guys!

This is the best Rubios I have ever been to. The service is excellent, the food is good, the facility is clean and best of all the salsa is thick and perfect. This is how all Rubios should be. Thank you Carlos(general manager), and Myra, and Rosie for your excellence in service and setting the bar for all other Rubios restaurants.

Fast, fresh, friendly and accommodating. I called in a custom order and it was ready within 5 minutes. The manager David was excellent.

Tonight was our first time visiting this Rubio’s. We were thoroughly impressed! Our order was taken by a cheerful, friendly«Dominic». This establishment was very clean as compared to similar eateries, and our food was delivered promptly. The Mandarin Chipotle Salad with shrimp was colorful and delicious enough to bring me back. My better half, normally a very particular eater, enjoyed every last bite of his California Bowl with chicken. For once, I was content with the price to portion/quality ratio. Minus .5 stars for slightly neglected restrooms.

Was there a change in management? What happened to the super friendly service? This Danny kid has NO personality. Literally only said«grilled or blackened», «$ 15.67» & «For here or to go?». That’s it! No «hello» when I said hello. No please. No thank you. No smile. Didn’t repeat back my order. As I waited for my to go order, I watched him treat every customer in the same way. What a downer this kid is! Can’t blame him cuz someone actually hired him and then trained him! A manager thought Danny was a good candidate to represent this Rubios. And then some regional manager hired that manager. Yikes!

Seriously amazing fish tacos. Especially on Tuesdays when they’re only $ 1.50 each… Makes them taste 2x better! Ok but you all know that. All I can say is that the workers here are very friendly, the salsa bar is always well stocked, and this Rubio’s is cleaner than average.

I was craving tacos for lunch while doing some shopping in the area, and I didn’t feel like Chipotle across the street… so, I chose Rubio’s. The girl at the register was welcoming, friendly, and patient(when we couldn’t decide what we wanted). I ordered the classic chicken tacos — with rice and chips. My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos — with beans and chips. We shared a beverage. Total was $ 17, which is great. I love that they have a salsa bar, but I wish they had pico de gallo(my favorite). Our meals were brought out in a timely manner by our cashier, and everything was delicious — except for the beans. They weren’t very good. I recommend substituting it for something else if you can, or maybe… it was just an off day for beans. Overall, a good experience, and I would recommend this place for a quick, Americanized Mexican meal. Hahaha. :D

They forgot to put in my order… No apology just an excuse that my meal took so long because they had to remake an order… This is not a large place the order you had to remake were the people that came in after me. And their redo arrived before my single taco. Please don’t lie to me. But the tacos are good for the price.

How funny. I posted a photo so Unilocal prompted me to write a review. And here’s how it goes… The flour tortilla overflowed with grilled chicken and a fresh salsa concoction of tomatoes, onion and cilantro. I added ground chili, chopped cilantro and onion, which yielded a burrito both tasty and filling. Very clean store, almost starkly so during the twilight hour between lunch and dinner. Good customer service. I asked for a cheese enchilada. They don’t make enchiladas. Asked for a Chimichonga, but the attendant didn’t know what that was. When I described the Chimi he suggested the burrito, which was enjoyable tho’ it didn’t have rice or beans inside, and was probably a healthier option. Fair prices for fast food. I’ve eaten here before, and while not on my normal route, I’ll certainly come back when I’m in the vicinity.

Rubio’s really nailed it when they came out with gourmet tacos. I always get flour tortillas and practically shout out how good it is with every bite. It’s pretty annoying how much I love them. Anyway, this location is in a busy shopping center but has a big out door patio in the back with its own entrance– perfect for bringing your pooch. My dog loves it. I recommend squeezing a lime on your rice and in your water or iced tea.
