I just moved into Leisure World and haven’t taken advantage of all it has to offer. But I discovered this place immediately. In the summer months, they have one weekly show, free for all the members of Leisure World. They are allowed to bring in one guest. Lots of the shows are ok, but some of them are outstanding. Plus the price is right. The Glen Miller Band was pleasing, the Rat Pack Tribute was fun, but the many stars have come in here, like Debbie Reynolds and Frankie Avalon. It’s too bad that it is located just below the jet stream landing in Long Beach Airport because we get drown out every once in a while. Seating is limited and fills up for all the shows I attended. Come early. First come, first serve also means first choice of seats since none are assigned. I will continue to attend.

Went to several shows this past summer, an Abba tribute and U2 tribute that were excellent, I thought they seemed almost like the real thing. Great seating and views of the stage and the sound was great. The audiencefor these shows is kind of old and not to peppy though but ignoring them, we got up and moved around to the music. Also attended a Rat pack tribute and somoe oldyy but goodies like Debbie reynolds who was funny and still pretty sharp and can still sing«Tammy». The shows are mostly for the generation ahead of me 70’s and older but still enjoyable but they are shifting to acts that us boomers can really enjoy. i give it five stars but you have to know a Liesure World member and be with them or you cant get in here. The shows are free to shareholders at Liesure World.
