Even More Hair Salon

My daughter and I were walking around Seal Beach enjoying a leisurely day off work. We saw a sign saying «Walk-​ins Welcome», and we decided to give it a try. We were told it would be about 45 minutes, so we walked across the street to the beach and waited (best waiting area ever!)

We returned after 45 minutes and Victoria was available. She did my color first, giving me a root touch-​up. I was impressed because she didn’t try to push an all over color or highlights. She only suggested what I needed. While my color sat, she trimmed my daughter’s hair, which is long and unbelievably thick. It is rare she finds a stylist that can, 1^st, cut it straight and 2^nd, not leave random stragglers. Victoria did both! It looked great!
When it came time for my cut, I showed Victoria a picture of what I wanted. I had used the same picture for my last cut and did not have good results. Victoria, however, took one look at the picture and started telling me how she would make it happen. She made quick work of the cut and then styled my hair. It was PERFECTION! The color was exactly right and the style was everything I wanted.
Now it was time to pay up. I didn’t ask about pricing before we started, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very pleased that the prices were somewhat less than most boutique salons in the area. Even if it would have been more, it was worth it.
We all know the true test of a great cut is what it looks like when we have to style it by ourself. Well, with a few pulls of a flat iron, my hair looked just like it did the day I walked out of Even More.
Thanks Victoria for a great new look! You did a fabulous job and I would (and already have) highly recommend you to anyone looking for a talented, friendly stylist.

Katrice did a great job on my hair. I came in with nasty roots and ends, came out with a different person. She does a great job, highly recommend her. I will definitely be going back.

Alicia is amazing! Cuts, color, extensions… She does it all O SO WELL! I am one of those clients that changes her hair like underwear and this hair savant is always up for the challenge. I highly recommend you come down to the beach and get your SEXY on!

The thing I liked about Ashley was the way she handled my hair with care during the whole process. I came in needing to get my hair color/​roots retouched, and Ashley fixed my hair by taking out the brassiness in color and turning it into an ash blonde ombré. I really liked the way she blended the colors to give it a nice transition and making it look more natural. Overall, I was really satisfied with the way my hair came out.
*Prices are somewhere around $ 90 – 100 for a full on hair dye, and about $ 40 for cut

I love this salon! The location is great, very nicely decorated inside too. Most of all, I just adore my stylist Lisa. It is a true joy to get my hair done here with her. Thank you for always giving me great hair and a great experience. You’re amazing!

I have been coming to Even More for about 3 years now. Ashley is a wonderful hair stylist. She always does a great and thorough job on my hair. I have never ever been disappointed with her work. I have come to her for hair cuts as well as hair coloring treatments.
If you are interested in getting your hair colored, a full foil is going to be $ 90 and a half foil is $ 60. I think Ashley’s prices are very reasonable and she does an amazing job.
The other lady’s at Even More are very nice too. My mom also comes to this salon and Lisa cuts her hair. Lisa also does a great job, which is why my mom has been coming to her for a few years now.
I am so happy to have a salon that I can rely on and that is close to my house!

Kat is a great hair stylist! I went in using a group-​on for a cut and highlight. She was very knowledgeable and explained what types of color would work best for me. She did a great job on the haircut and the highlights turned out perfect!!! Kat was very friendly and experienced. I would defiantly recommend her!!! Great salon and great stylist!

She is hands down the most talented stylist I have ever gone to in my life! I am so grateful that I stumbled upon her when I first moved to Laguna Hills. I have been going to ONLY her for 5 years now, I think. When she moved out to Seal Beach… I followed. And now that I moved out to Nashville, TN I fly in to California just so she can work her magic and make my hair beautiful again. I won’t allow anyone touch my hair, but her! Ashley knows her craft and I know I can always count on her to give me her honest opinion if I show up with an outrageous idea that won’t compliment my skin tone. :-) She is invaluable! I’d take her everywhere with me if I could!

This is a review about Ashley.
I stumbled upon Even More Hair Salon when I first moved to the area a few years ago. Ashley cut my hair that day. Since that day, she has been the only person to cut my hair which is about once every 2 – 3 weeks.
Ashley is a professional that is truly passionate about what she is doing, and it is evident in her work. Her consistency is what is most impressive to me. I recently found out that she takes notes on every customer to better understand how they want their hair to look. To me, that is above and beyond and I commend her for that.
Both my wife and I go to Ashley which is a testament to her ability to cut and style for both men and women.
The 5 star rating is exactly as Unilocal puts it, «Woohoo! As good as it gets!»

Absolutely love Ashley!!! So much that I had her not only do my hair for my wedding but also all of my bridesmaids. She traveled from Seal Beach out towards Temecula and not only was she on time (she was there before me), but she was able to get all of our hair done as well as squeeze in a friend last minute. She also took the time to head over to where the groom was and clean him up also. So I highly recommend you take a trip down and see Ashley.

I was new to the Seal Beach area and was recommended by two different people to try Lisa at Even More.
I made very clear what I wanted. I showed her two photos of what I wanted. One represented the color, the other the cut.
I was pleased with the color, it was fine. However, the hair cut was probably the worst that I’ve ever had. It looked nothing like the picture, and was very poorly done. The ends looked «split» and damaged after she cut my hair, the shaping was terrible and the layers were all over the place.
I will never return to this salon. And it cost $ 170 (including tip). Never again.

I could not find a stylist that i liked and felt comfortable until i walked in here one day and got a cut from Ashley. She understood what my hair tends to do and cut it accordingly. Awesome spot right on the beach. Will be going to Ashley exclusively from now on.

Love Renee, the owner, and have been going to her for years. I trust her with making decisions about what cut is right for me, and she does great color. it is not the usual salon and i love them for this.
