Awful. Bland food, overpriced. Chicken and broccoli tasted like rubber. Dumplings were waxy and gross. Fried rice was bland and the sesame chicken was mush. This was the first time I threw out Chinese food!

I gave this a place a try the first day I got to Long Island, NY! Very big disappointment! Before giving this place a try I looked through the reviews on Unilocal and thought it must be very nice. What turned out was I waited around an hour for the takeout to come to my house. I’m living at a friends house and they’re right in Seaford! And most of the things I ordered was missing. Especially the wonton soup and shrimp fried rice! At that point the food was COLD and needed to be popped into the microwave. Even when those items were missing the guy still charged me full price and made me pay for things I didn’t even get. I payed him what I had ordered and got and closed the door on him. This Asian man just continuously rang the doorbell and woke up the children in the house. So I just payed him the rest of the money which I did not get anything(wonton soup, eggrolls, shrimp fried rice.). I called back the next day telling them what had happened and the women who picked up the phone LITERALLY hanged up on me while I was still taking! The people working here are just flat out RUDE, HORRIBLE service. NEVEREVER am I coming back and ordering from this place.

A hidden«take out«treasure in Seaford. The food is always delicious, fresh, and every quart container is bursting with food it is packed so high. Some of my personal favorites are the«House LoMein», Sesame Chicken, and Egg Foo young. Great shrimp toast and spare rib appetizers ! Love the Won ton soup too. I tell the owner Linban this should be a restaurant the food is so good ! So when you go say(Ni Hao) «Hello» to her and especially say«Xie Xie»(Thank you), when you leave.

Decided to try a new Chinese place closer to where I live south of merrick road. Saw great reviews on Unilocal and was surprised to say that the food was the worst that I have ever tried! Ordered 2 normal dishes(chicken and broccoli and sesame chicken). The sesame chicken was squishy and soggy, the chicken and broccoli was undercooked. Took a few bites and threw out both orders. Stay away from this location.

This is the best Chinese in the area by a long shot. I’ve been here twice in the last 2 weeks. Let me start by telling you that one of my favorite things that I cook at home is my sesame chicken. It’s so good that I get disappointed by other restaurants versions. But, I recently decided to try Jin Jin’s version, since I’ve been so satisfied by their other options, and I was not disappointed at all, rather, I was very happy. Their sesame chicken is on point. Crispy but still soaked in the most amazing tangy yet sweet sauce. It’s sesame chicken euphoria. As for their dumplings, I mean, come on. They rival some of the best dumplings I’ve had in Chinatown. Thin dough with a huge portion of amazing pork. They’re soft and juicy and I can eat a million of them and be happy forever. Their prices are very reasonable and the woman who takes the orders is the sweetest. She always says such nice things to my fiancé and me. I’m happy to give her family business and spread the word!

This review is for fan #90 This is the email my mother sent me tonight: subject: HAPPYNEWYEAR1 Forget JJBest Chinese… I found a new fa vorite place… Jin Jin Garden, Merrick Rd., Seaford. I am not like you as I do not like to try new restaurants. i WAs at the bank and didn’t feel like driving to jj best so I took a chance. They are always dropping off menus in the mailbox and the price was good sooo I went there. The place was plain and a family seemed to be working there. I saw a grandmother and baby. The portions were large and fresh and tasty. I looked at other dishes people were eating and all looked good. The place was busy for a weekday lunch time. I almost feel like the food is very authentic and could be in your neighborhood. Sick of the weather. Cold down south too. Freeze warning in Florida.
