On the positive side, burgers are great. However, can’t say that about the drive thru. I’ve been short changed twice on my order. Shame on me for not checking my orders until I got home. Tried to call the restaurant direct but no one answered the phone. Then called the 800 number & got someone to talk to. Told them of problem, inability to get the local restaurant to answer the phone, provided receipt # & my name, address & phone number. Advised problem would be looked into & someone would get back to me. Two months later & I’m still waiting. Needless to say, I avoid their drive thru now & most of the time go elsewhere. Apparently, customer satisfaction is not a priority with them.

My only experience with whataburger. This place was great. Went on recommendation of a local. Got the paddy melt through the drive through. Service was great. Taste was excellent. At first I thought the $ 6 was a little bit excessive, but the quality is far superior to McD’s or any other fast food, including the infamous In-N-Out. The only«chain» that is still superior to this is shake shack. Nothing comes close to shake shack.

Had the opportunity to get Whataburger for breakfast but what a let down this experience was.. I normally enjoy Whataburger when in town but will probably avoid this one in the future. I ordered a breakfast meal, pretty simple, but somehow they forgot to give me the hash browns, seems odd but they managed to do it. I called to let the manager know and her response was to stop back by and they would attempt to make it right, that’s a bit difficult when I am on my way out of town, maybe next time try getting it right. Disappointing.

Ok so if you know Whataburger you know they make a fresh surperior fast food burger. The patties are thin and the bun toasted. They also have great chicken strips with gravy and some pretty good breakfast sandwiches. This particular location is the best in the area by far. They have a great staff both inside as well as at the drive through. They always get my order right and are welcoming and friendly. You can tell the workers here are happy at their jobs and that makes for a good experience. Do yourself a favor and if you are in the area and new to Whataburger then try this location. It is the best place to experience your first Whataburger.

Whataburger reigns superior in Texas, I’ve learned. Every part of Texas I’ve been to has a Whataburger nearby, whether you’re in a big city or deserted town. I’ve always been curious and made it a mission to finally try it before I go back home. Which sounds silly considering it’s a fast food burger joint. We stopped at this location in a small town that was on our way from Houston to Kemah. And I have to say, I was impressed. My double whataburger was huge. The taste was excellent, and it seems as though they use quality beef. The fries, which are similar to McDonalds, were pretty good also. This is one of the few chains that’s open 24 hours in Texas, so I could envision drunk me hitting up this drive through in middle of the night if lived here, just as I do White Castle back home. If you’re ever in Texas or any other southern state that has Whataburger, I recommend you try it.

Burgers are always good and have less calories without the bun oil. They are willing to cook the fries ‘very crispy’ when you ask.

I won’t go too much into the menu and variety of Whataburger, most are familiar. This particular Whataburger has a local feel that is unmatched by others that I’ve been to. The manager and employees remember the customers(who come back time and time again, which speaks to the service). It’s like going to a local place, instead of other fast food places which are more about the product, and not the customer service. Good deal on Senior Coffee as well(must be old enough to qualify). Generally, Whataburger beats the other fast food burger joints on burger quality and variety(emphasis on made to order), customer service, and breakfast variety(taquitos in addition to the regular biscuit sandwich stock). One tip, if you order a biscuit and gravy, get a second biscuit(sans gravy) and there will be enough left over to more than make it a larger meal. And not on the menu, they have a «white gravy» that’s more creamy(and prototypical of southern tradition) than the menu gravy.
