We had the mofos. I had the waffle with strawberries and it was tasty… a lot of food. Would try the pancake one next time. Wait was a little long but waitress was nice. Would recommend.

Went for breakfast and really enjoyed this place. Eggs and potatoes were on point and bacon was crisp. French toast was good, only complaint was that bread slices were smaller than expected. Overall a good experience though!

The Mofo rocks, as so many Unilocalers have observed. Mr. M, who has a voracious appetite for breakfast, could not finish it. Between bites of French toast, eggs, bacon, waffle fries, toast and coffee, he declared it the best breakfast he has ever had at the Shore. Not a surprise given Steak Out’s many accolades. I was pleased with the sampler, recommended by our cute-as-a-button waitperson. It consisted of one egg(perfectly cooked with a lovely, runny yolk, 2 strips of bacon, one pancake(which was fluffy and dry throughout), 2 rashers of bacon(flawlessly cooked – crispy without being burnt), waffle fries and toast. The waffle fries were amazing! Straight out of the fry-o-lator, they were crisp, light and beautifully seasoned. I would return to Steak Out just for them! So good were they that I skipped the toast and half of the pancake. Steak Out serves a mighty fine cup of Joe, too. Good coffee is scarce at the shore, so I am thrilled to have a «go to» place now. We cannot wait to return. Hint to the wise, go early and avoid the wait.

Love a place who has waffle fries on the menu. My friend has blueberry waffles, another had fried eggs, and I had scrambled. So incredibly delicious all of it. Coffee was great too. Hate going to a place where you are eating breakfast and they have bad coffee. Boo

Been going here for years, never had a bad meal. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due, these guys work hard and even though there was a long line I still got a table in about 15 minutes. I had the big Mofo and it was big. I did not finish it, but the people I was with started nibbling on my left overs and wished they had gotten it.

Love this place. Seriously, it’s the best. The servers are amazing, the owner Jason is great, and the food is top notch. They recently added a few tables outside. You WILLNOT leave hungry. Order the«cubed fries» — better option than home fries in my opinion.

In this small restaurant that can only hold 86, you’ll find a real taste of the Jersey Shore. I’ve been coming to Steak Out for years and three things keep me coming back: the atmosphere, the service, and the unrivaled culinary greatness that is the Big Mofo. Highly recommended for shore goers of all ages, Steak Out will always leave you feeling satisfied.

Good food at a good price. Great waffle fries. Courteous service. Comfortable atmosphere. Cool on a hot day. All in all a good lunch.

For breakfast, go to Shoobies. The pancakes at Steak Out were big, but tasteless. The pork roll looked like it had a bite taken out of it and the toast was greasy and cold. The service was slow and they obviously don’t ask you how you liked your meal for a reason. I won’t be returning to Steak Out for breakfast. If you want to spend $ 10 – 15 for a DECENT breakfast in Sea Isle, go to next door.

Great place for cheesesteaks and spiced waffle fries. Steaks run about 10 bucks a piece(fries included). Rolls are super soft and fresh. Chicken cheesesteak hoagie is a good choice. Nice portions and wait staff was very friendly. Spoke with us on the way in and when we left. Best place we have found so far for a cheesesteak.

I love this place. One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. I try to get to it at least once every time I go down the shore. The eggs and homefries are amazing. I think they cook it with some kind of grease or on a different surface then most places but whatever it is, it’s worth eating at. The mofos are really good too and really filling. Only bad thing is that it is a little pricey for a breakfast place and it can get pretty busy on the weekends, some times the wait time can get up to an hour.

Had breakfast there this Sunday. Didn’t know it was even there! Awesome blueberry pancakes and the breakfast sandwich was fantastic! Was with my family and every plate was completely clear — we ate everything we could! Service was fast. I think the place is open 24⁄7 and serves breakfast all day. I can imagine that breakfast sandwich would be great after a late night in Sea Isle! :) will definitely go back!

It was fine, not great — and apparently the kids eat free thing doesn’t hold on Friday mornings. It’s cool that it’s an old Sea Isle institution and it definitely feels like it inside with its dark wood décor. The portions are HUGE if that’s your thing. I’d go back, but not run. Glad I went once anyway.

I’ve been going to Sea Isle for close to 15 years. I think I’ve been here twice. That’s not to say Steak Out is bogus, we just normally cook breakfast at home or I skip straight ahead to pizza. But when I walked by a couple weekends ago and noticed a small sign in the window, I knew it’d be back very soon: OPEN24HOURS. So after the fireworks, the garage rock out session ala I Love You, Man(A modern day warrior, mean mean stride…), and one or two cocktails, I walked down to Steak Out with my two good buddies at about 4:00 a.m. on the weekend of July 4th. We were the only jabrones in there and the employees didn’t seem to mind us attempting to hold conversations while speaking like Yoda. The breakfast was solid. And the place is clean. Our server brought my friend extra toast after I stole his first round. We managed to rack up a $ 40 check, but my buddy did eat two sandwiches. He was so hungry. I mean, breakfast around the clock. What’s there not to like about it? Stop in after you leave The OD.

I was only going to give this joint four stars because it’s a little pricey… but they have this pretty awesome rule that kids eat free if you order one of their breakfast or lunch options. We had our eight week old with us and he doesn’t eat so we were pretty sure that wouldn’t apply to us… but then… Joe the server(attentive and cautious) dropped the waffle fries on the table and told us they were on the house for the baby. Awesome and a nice token of good will. Score. Those fries are so stinkin’ good. Seriously. They don’t accept cards but they’re good enough to provide an ATM in store so that works enough for us. Oh– the coffee tastes like mud water so don’t get it… unless you’re into that sort of thing.

Best waffle fries ever! Seasoned and crispy, yumm. I came here for breakfast a lot of hungover mornings last summer, and they always served me some tasty omelettes or waffles to make me feel better.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years! It is always the same friendly atmosphere and great service. Steak Out has an amazing breakfast and lunch. You can find the owner Jason behind the grill, greeting customers and sometimes you’ll catch a few waves with him while you are out surfing. One menu item that I can recommend if you are really hungry is «the Big MoFo». Bring you appetite!
