I really enjoy their round pizza. Could easily inhale about 5 (large) pieces. This may be the best round pizza I’ve had in the scranton area. I also really like their hot wing Stromboli, although their «small» is definitely not what I would consider a small. Not sure how big the large is, but I’m assuming it’s massive. They do deliver and their drivers are very friendly.

Had this pizza in bulk for a fundraiser. Was the same great quality from the first through the 50th tray. Service was great as we had to reorder several times because of the large crowd.

I give Neara’s 5 stars, not because they blew me away with service or food quality or atmosphere but because it is exactly what a pizza place should be like. I have been here only once, at lunch time.
When you walk in it feels clean, friendly, and bright. The waitstaff is pleasant, food is good and price is reasonable. I make an effort, if I’m going to review a place, to take notice of how other customers are treated. The regulars here are spoken to by name, and like a good friend. They are treated politely and with respect, as you would expect. To my surprise, I was treated just as well, albeit they don’t know my name.
Overall I very much enjoyed the pizza I had, however most other patrons had hoagies, so I assume they are good as well. It is nothing mind blowing, but it is a nice experience considering many pizza places in scranton aren’t as clean, warm and friendly.
I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

We love Nearra’s Pizza we have been going there for years. We usually pick up. Tonight we ordered delivery and had a big problem. The delivery guy was a punk and said with an attitude and thug demeanor «Yo, here’s your pizza Man». We tipped generously and opened the pizza to find a great deal of cheese melted off into the box. When we called and asked for a new one, the girl Taylor who answered the phone said there was nothing she could do about it. We called back again and asked politely to speak to a supervisor and she said there wasn’t one around. So it basically sounds like a bunch of teenagers run the place. I don’t know if we will go back. Or just stick to pick up.

I visit Nearra’s pretty often, and I’ve never had a negative experience there. The wait staff is always exceptionally friendly, the place is very clean & up-​to-​date, the food portions are a good size, not overpriced, and the owner is very pleasant! I would recommend Nearra’s to anyone.

I asked for cheddar on my steak sandwich and it turned out to be cheez whiz. They are either really dumb or think that I am. Either inform me that you don’t have the cheese I asked for or at least try to dupe me with actual cheese. If I wanted processed crap I would have asked for processed crap. Disgusting. My fries were gross as well, I’m not even sure there was actual potato in there as it was more like just a fried coating. I’d be too terrified to try anything else from there.

Picked up pizza here two years in a row for daughter’s birthday party and their white pizza rocks! 3 large pies for 30 so not bad. Lots of cheese, friendly service and responsive!

Love Nearras! They are a great little joint to eat in, take out, or deliver. I usually have them deliver as they are prompt and reliable… and I am lazy :) I’m a fan of just a plain pizza or sometimes a pepperoni or two, and they are more than just ok. I am also a huge fan of their strombolis and calzones.
It’s not just pizza and stromboli. The items on their appetizer menu are pretty good, and their cheese steaks and chicken parm subs are just about as good as you will find in the city.
Friendly people, good food, good prices, two thumbs up.
