Adams Shoe Repair

I called before I traveled a long distance to get to this shop. I asked him if it was possible to wait for the repair. He said no, but I could get it the next day. I told him I was not from the area, so I needed prompt service. He was rude to begin with. I left the bag there and he wanted me to pay in advance. I paid him $ 16.00. I left it on Wed. Today is Friday. I was planning to pick it up tomorrow while I was in Scranton picking up a birthday cake. I looked at the ticket and it said it would be ready on Tuesday. I called and told him about the Tuesday date and that I was flying out to go home early Tuesday and could I pick it up earlier. He said it was too much work and now he doesn’t want to do it at all !!! He had a cavalier attitude when I was in his shop and the same on the phone call this morning. I cannot believe the POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Or that he would not do the courtesy of calling me and telling me he didn’t want to do the work he committed to, so that I could have found another shoe /​bag repair shop so I had the purse to use for an 85^th Birthday Celebration on Saturday night! Avoid this shop… VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
