This salon and team is amazing. TK and her assistant made me look great with a perfect shiny new hair style. Perfectly cut with great coloring as well. My best hair style ever! It brought out my natural blonde color with added highlights placed how I liked, to match the contours of my hair and style. Never looked better. The studio and location are very beautiful.

TK is hands down the best! I had my extensions done by a few « Unilocal top rated» people around town before I started going to TK.
The first time I had my extensions put in by a «top rated» person, they did not carry extensions that matched my hair color so they alternated two different colors throughout my hair. It looked incredibly streaky and fake, I was not impressed, especially after dropping $ 700 for it.
The second time I had my hair done, I went to another «top rated» person and she took me to Sonnys to pick out my hair — at least they carried my color. After only a day after installation, a few strands had already fallen out. Ok. Stuff happens. However, after a month, nearly 75% of my hair had fallen out! I mentioned this to her but she stated it was normal/​probably my fault. I at least expected a discount on my next hair appointed but alas, no dice.
After that, I found TK, and thank goodness I did! TK makes these custom blended hair strands out of very high quality hair that makes the extensions look very natural. Note, I did the micro bead extensions, however TK will look at your hair and recommend the best method for you. I personally love the micro beads because TK uses a bead that will match your hair color perfectly, so they are difficult to see.
I had my hair extensions put in nearly 4 months ago and not one strand has fallen out! Normally I wouldn’t wait 4 months to get my extensions redone but I recently moved to Austin and refuse to go to anyone accept TK. On top of that, girls in Austin don’t tend to get hair extensions (not sure why) but nearly every girl/​guy that has met me here has complimented me on my beautiful, long hair. When I tell them I actually have hair extensions, they are floored! Everyone states they thought my hair was natural and had NO idea!
Long story short, TK is the absolute best! You will not be disappointed! I love her so much that I purchased a flight over to Scottsdale JUST to get my hair extensions redone! I do not trust anyone else and will continue flying down to AZ every few months to see her!

TK is a hair genius! I can’t say enough good things about her and the work she does. I can look in the mirror now and smile instead of cringe. I’ve actually been getting compliments on my hair on a regular basis, and that never used to happen. I have had naturally baby fine, thin hair my whole life. Nine months ago I decided to splurge and get extensions. I saw several different people and had several different kinds of extensions installed (and needless to say, spent a ridiculous amount of money). But they never looked quite right, didn’t last long, and fell out making my own hair thinner.
I decided to get smart, do my research, and find someone who really understands and cares about thin hair. That’s how I found TK, and now I know I will never go anywhere else. From the minute I sat in her chair, it was very obvious she cared about preserving every one of my natural strands while adding enough new hair to get the thickness I always wanted.
Not only that, but she gave me the best cut and color I think I’ve ever had. She doesn’t just install a bunch of crap hair on your head in an hour and send you on your way. She made sure I left with not only more hair, but a hair style that matched my own unique personal style.
All of that AND her prices are very reasonable considering the time and attention she gives you. After installing my extensions, when it was time to cut and style them she was extremely careful to make sure she wasn’t cutting any of my own hair. No one else has ever been that careful.
If you care about maintaining the integrity of your own hair, or you need help repairing damage to your hair, then TK is the person you need to see. And if you do go see her, then trust her and listen to her advice. She truly knows what she is talking about and I promise you that you will look better than you ever have.

TK is truly a master! I have super fine hair and now my hair is super long and luscious and NO damage. She has a lot knowledge about hair growth and nutrition. As far as pricing it is definitely fair and there were a lot of options that would fit my budget. My hair is amazing doesn’t tangle super shiny. As far as color I could not be happier, I have lived in a few places and had my hair done all over the country and TK is top notch!

I have been plagued with thinning hair due to weight loss and over stressing my hair. I have tried everything to make my hair look fuller to no avail. One sitting and what a difference! I love my new awesome hair. No doubts — I will continue on here! PS: I love the idea that they are all about hair health and getting their clients to a healthy hair state. :-)

I decided to try hair extensions for the first time this fall. I chose TK after a google search. I am from out of town, and TK rearranged her schedule to accommodate me when I was in town for business. My natural hair had taken quite a beating from spray-​in blonde and at home henna experiments, followed by harsh bleaching from stylists to try to return to blonde when my crazy redhead phase was over. My hair was about chin-​length, frizzy, orange and sparse. TK was very straight-​forward in the initial consultation. I asked her if extensions would damage my natural hair and she responded «Anything you do to your hair will damage it,» but at the same time, my natural hair would get a vacation from the chemical warfare I had been waging on it. TK was also realistic about the commitment it takes to maintain extensions. They are not «wash and go» so to speak.
I carefully weighed the costs in terms of time and money. (TK is very reasonably priced as far as hair extensions go, but still a splurge for someone in my tax bracket. My rating of «moderate» for the price range reflects the cost compared to similar businesses.) I also considered the benefits. (C’mon I will look so hot, and I just don’t have the genetics to grow long luscious hair!) In the end, vanity won (as usual) and I took the plunge.
The put-​in was a whole day affair. I would recommend bringing a good book and some snacks. When she had finished, my hair was about ten inches longer and a lot blonder. (Rita, the stylist and colorist did a great job on blonde highlights.) It looked good, but I had the strange feeling that everyone would know I was wearing extensions. They didn’t. I did get a few compliments on my new color, but that’s it. The important thing is that I love my new long hair. (I now think of it as «mine» because, hey, I paid for it!) It really does make me feel like a new person, and it compliments my entire look. I have a lot of options with how I can style my hair, and have a lot of fun playing with it. It does take a lot of upkeep, so be prepared to commit at least 10 minutes a day to combing/​brushing/​detangling.
A word of warning: TK is great at what she does, but she has little patience for BS. She has been known to «fire» clients who regularly miss appointments without notifying her, don’t pay (duh! If you want the service you have to pay for it!) and other reasons.
Overall, the commitment in terms of time and money has been worth it for me. I am happy with my look, and my natural hair has grown several inches since I’ve had the extensions in. TK knows her stuff and will make your hair look good. However, I would recommend extensions IF and ONLY IF 1) You can afford it and 2) You are willing to do your part to take care of the extensions
