Elite Event: Diamonds & Desserts at Robbins Brothers

This event was so beautiful! After countless drive bus, and perhaps In n Out pit stops I finally got to go into Robbins Brothers.
I usually avoid jewelry stores that specialize in engagement rings, because well… I’m not engaged. But this really opened my eyes to things I liked! I attended this event and worked with Kim, she was amazing. They get to know you and all your likes and dislikes. They even ask about your lifestyle and while all the rings are there, which is overwhelming, they narrow down the choices and you find that perfect one.
I also like that you can really customize every ring in the store. Short on cash for that big rock? No problem. You can put a different stone in the diamonds place, and come back later and upgrade it!
The sweets station was my favorite. The chocolate fountain was top notch. I also won a swag bag after guessing a close number in a contest with a bowl full of fake diamonds.
If I ever get engaged, the boy can come here!

Huge thank you to the Robbins Brothers and Unilocal for a fun event out in Scottsdale. At the door we were greeted with flutes of champagne and light bites. At the back of the store there was a big spread of every kind of dessert you could imagine and a cute little drink bar where you could get a cup rimmed with frosting and sprinkles, yum!
My favorite part of the event was of course looking at all the gorgeous bling. I also really loved learning about diamonds and the «4 C’s» that rate a diamond’s quality. It was also interesting to see how just a change in the overhead lights a store uses can vastly alter the way a diamond appears. So you have to be careful and look at your diamond in «white» or «natural» light! I’m not a diamond type of girl myself, but now I know what to look for if I’m ever looking to buy one for someone else.
And who can leave out the amazing gift bags! Seriously, Robbins Brothers, you spoil us too much. The faux diamond bracelet in there was so cool and I’m looking forward to sporting that soon.
The only thing I was sad about was that I posted my photos too late to be considered for the Instagram contest. I was just too caught up in all the neat things to do/​see there! Next time I know to take my photos and post them immediately!

Had the great pleasure of attending the Elite Event: Diamonds & Dessert At Robbins Brothers. This is truly any girls dream come true, to able to try everything in the store, while being handed flutes of sparkling bubbles to drink. And if by chance you needed to give your hands a break from carrying all that bling on your finger, we were able to stop by the delish dessert counter with a flowing chocolate fountain with fruits and candies to dip.
It was great seeing everyone and I must admit I did have fun trying on the rings, I’m a huge sucker for bling!

I was totally impressed with the selection and sparkle in this store! Every style imaginable and more! Plus, the associates were knowledgeable and patient with us even if we asked «dumb» questions. Frieda was amazing! This was a fun event to bring a friend to look at rings or just to enjoy visiting a new business. My guest was so excited that she won one of the giveaway prizes, and the gift bags with goodies were impressive (beautiful crystal bracelet). I would definitely recommend this store to any friend looking for an engagement ring (or other jewelry). Great work on Robbins Borthers part for putting everything together and making us feel welcome! And thanks to Hailey for coordinating it!

Soo…I couldn’t possibly be LESS in the market for an engagement ring, but the Robbins Brothers staff (and our lady in charge, Hailey) still made my friend and me feel most welcome as we tried on reasonable rings… and some that were perhaps a bit excessive :)
We learned about diamond classifications, colors, and weights (did you know a 1 karat diamond can actually be a bit less than a full karat? TRUTH!
Also a fun truth is that we were gifted a super shiny and sparkly tennis bracelet (plus other cool stuff) just for attending. Highly recommend this place, even if only to get fun ideas for non-​engagement jewelry (they had a decent selection of bracelets, earrings, and birthstone jewelry).

My +1 and I had so so so much fun at this event. Seriously what is better than dressing up nice, drinking champagne, chocolate fondue and trying on diamond rings???
This was my fist elite event to attend and I must say it is definitely not my last.
Also, the staff at Robbins Brothers are just unbelievable. We were having fun with them and they all were so kind in letting us try on a million different rings. I will now recommend everyone to this store when they are in the market for a ring. You just cant beat the service!

I’m so fancy… you already know! Went with one of my bests and thought it would be a great idea for her to come with coz she’s looking for a ring for her upcoming engagement, and I knew she wouldn’t pass up champagne.
The ladies and gents of Robbins Brothers where very helpful and I liked the store, Sasha was a sweetheart, and her colleague Tonya, (I think) was so informative telling us the differences of clear, loose, cushion, and canary diamonds. Loved one diamond ring that was a 1.5 carat and it was a clear and because of the light it could trick you into thinking there was a canary in it but it was just the light, loved it!
As for the event, Thank you Hailey for the great sweets, the yummy hot chocolate, and the festive atmosphere, an awesome event to be at! Oh and I got to meet a fellow Unilocaler, Meagan B. who was a doll, sorry I was a little awkward but I’d love to see you at other elite events in the future. Good times, and great people!

Such a nice classy event this evening with champagne, live music and hors d’oeuvres. And even had some delectables from the delightful Paris Gourmet. It was so great I even got my lovely honey something sparkly for our anniversary.

Thank you Hailey, Joyce, and Robbins Brothers for this wonderful event! I had a lot of fun talking and meeting everyone there! The food was yum, and we are definitely going to check out Paris Gourmet because those macaroons made me swoon!

I think this is my favorite event so far, we were welcomed with a glass of bubbly, they also had appetizers in the front room and some desserts in the back. A tower of my favorite macarons from Paris Gourmet and a chocolate fountain. I tried a couple of rings. I needed an anniversary ring, so I showed Andara what I was looking for from my Pinterest board, she was so nice and professional. She brought me a couple of rings and I fell in love with one of them. Good thing I chose early into the party, because I was able to have it sized and leave wearing it. While they were sizing it, I got a lesson on their diamonds and we got to see a couple of one carat diamonds under the microscope. Thank you Hailey, Tiffany and the crew from Robbins Bros., specially Andara, I will always remember this event every tin I look at my hand.

January 28^th, 2014: I woke up on a Tuesday morning to find out that I have been invited to join Elite ’14. I was honored, ecstatic, and pee-​in-​my-​pants excited! Along with this message, I was also invited to the «Diamonds Are A Unilocaler’s Best Friend at Shane Co.» that same night. Being that it was so last minute, I had to decline. My first day as Elite and I already missed my first YEE. Drats!
So when I checked the Elite calendar and saw another diamond event popping up, I jumped on it. I mean, get dressed up on a weekday, sip on some bubbly champagne, and nibble on sweets all night while being surrounded by beautiful friendly Unilocalers AND sparkly diamonds? Yas, girl. Yaaaas! I was on that RSVP faster than a hornet with ‘roid rage!
The night started off with a warm hug from Hailey B. [sweetest CM like ever], some Unilocal shwag, and a chance to enter a raffle for a pair of gorgeous earrings from Robbins Brothers. After scoffing at an innocent piece of white paper, I grabbed a red sheet from the stack to enter my name. Red is the color of Unilocal and it’s my favorite color in the world and this is important because… I WON THE EARRINGS! AHH! I’m glad I had placed my flute of champagne down or else Ann R. would have gotten a face full of my drink because I was cheering while showing off some impressive air punches. I think Meagan B. was impressed by my kung fu moves. ;)
The staff at Robbins Brothers were so sweet. After Nicole told us about the macarons from Paris Gourmet in the back, it was a quick dash to grab the first macaron. I nibbled on a delicate rose macaron and later shared the key lime macaron. This made my dress flip. Also being served was an impressive fondue bar, canelés from Paris Gourmet, hot cocoa to warm up with, cocktail shrimp, brie en croute, and some savory crackers. So nibbling on noms and champagne-​sipping while Nicole let us try on rings while being patient with a bunch of rowdy Unilocalers was how we spent our night. It was perfect. We also got our jewelry cleaned for free while we got to peruse their gorgeous collection and sit through various informative classes.
Thank you Unilocal,Hailey B., and the kind and wonderful staff at Robbins Brothers for a beautiful Thursday night! It definitely gave me that festive cheer and might I add, after seeing their black diamonds collection, I wouldn’t mind coming back! Best of luck to their newest location here in the valley!
