I’m not writing this review for the actual restaurant but for the banquet center that they have. I was coordinating a business lunch for my department and when my boss decided to go with Twisted Rose Winery after viewing their website, I made the reservation for our group. I figured that having the banquet room would be perfect since we would have our own private space for this business event and the pricing was very reasonable. When my group arrived I saw that they had cars parked inside the banquet room. I would imagine that if they knew an event would be taking place that day that they would at least move the cars out for a couple of hours, but our banquet tables and buffet tables were laid out next to the cars. My boss wasn’t too pleased by this. Basically, their«banquet room» is also a car dealership so people can just walk in during your event inquiring about a car. That happened during our lunch. Just imagine that you’re having business lunch with your employees in the middle of a show floor of a car dealership and that’s where we were. The car sales guys were at their desks doing their job while we were trying to enjoy our lunch. At the end of our event I spoke with one of the restaurant workers who informed me that there was some miscommunication between the kitchen and the guys running the dealership and that usually the cars are removed when an event is taking place. I certainly do hope so because I would hate for this to happen to others who are maybe trying to book their business event or a party in this space. The food was OK being that it was served buffet style. I liked the salad and their mac n cheese was delicious. I’d definitely go back and eat at the actual restaurant since I thought it was decorated nicely and had a nice atmosphere. Also, the staff was very nice and attentive. I was just slightly disappointed that this happened with my corporate event.
