A Kut Above Pet Styling by Sara

We have been clients of Sara’s for more than 9 years. She has groomed all three of our dogs and been a wonderful asset to us in understanding their needs. Sara is much more than a groomer. She is a knowledgeable breeder with years of experience in canine behavior and health issues, which she freely shares to help you provide the best life possible for your pets.
We have also used Sara’s boarding facility when we have gone on vacation and have been at peace the whole time knowing that our «babies» are not being confined in crates for hours or left alone overnight. She arranges fenced areas for your pets to run freely and enjoy the surroundings of her huge property as well as the comfy inside provisions to snuggle up for a good night’s rest.
Just one final word. We had a Bichon Frise, Noël, for 14 years. Noël had many health issues in the later years of her life and Sara was always so kind and gentle while grooming her. She was so careful in her handling and care of Noël while still maintaining that beautiful Bichon specialty cut that only Sara does to perfection. For those who think that Sara is anything but kind and loving, you are being deceived by her tough exterior. If you take the time to get to know her, you will come to understand that her first and primary concern is always the well being of your pet and isn’t that what we all want when we put our «furry kids» into the hands of a another person?

I have a Ragamuffin kitty named Bowie. He has a lot of hair, so from time to time a haircut is necessary. The groomer has always delivered wonderful results. Bowie always looks sharp and stylish. So thank you for everything!

Been taking Mr. Ike to Sarah for 7 years now and I can say she is the best @ what she does. She is accommodating and great with pets of all kinds. Out of all the years there isn’t a day my dog doesn’t come out happy, handsome and smelling great. Two years ago I decided to use her dog sitting service while I’m on vacation and Ike has been happy with that too. I would TOTALLY recommending using A Kut Above by Sarah

She does a beautiful job and can handle dogs with hyper personalities!
She also takes cats

She is sickly so she has weird hours
She is expensive
She never cuts the nails short enough
I go there and I will continue to go there.
I read the other person’s review and yes she is a bit rough. Not in a mean way but in a «I am in charge» way. When you are dealing with stranger’s dogs you can’t be all kissy. You need to show that dog that you are the alfa or it’s gonna be a huge struggle to groom them. She is a pro and knows what she is doing. She does have her mind made up on how your dog should look. If you just tell her that you want it done a different way she will do it! :)

she was very aggressive with my dog and has very rigid ideas. i did not have a good experience there.
