I was told by my niece that many people from the school go there for a quick lunch so I ordered dinner there for my family. Speed: For $ 40 worth of food it took about 15 minutes to make. Ambiance: Clean, but in need of an update if you eat in house. Food: Average Chinese food. Nothing more, nothing less. Portions were solid and taste was fine. Would I go out of my way to eat there? No. But it is quick and easy if in a pinch.

Fairly Ok, prices reasonable, fast service. Typical fast Chinese food. Counter service a challenge due to language issues.

Driving through Schuylerville, I spotted Joy Wok and decided to stop here for lunch. This casual Chinese restaurant offers takeout service and a nice full service dining room with booths and tables. The kitchen area is behind closed doors. The menu offerings include the standard Chinese fare including Cantonese, Hunan and Szechuan dishes. The prices seem reasonable, most items priced under $ 10 and the chef’s specials $ 8.50-$ 13.75 such as the Szechuan Chicken and Seafood Pan Fried Noodles respectively. 44 Lunch Specials(Mon-Sat 11AM-3PM) are offered served with pork fried rice($ 4.50-$ 4.95) and 44 Combination Plates($ 6.50-$ 7.50) served with pork fried rice & egg roll. Same order by numbers with L and D prefixes. For lunch takeout, I ordered the L17 Shrimp Lo Mein($ 4.50) with pork fried rice, which was ready to go in about 5 minutes, very prompt service. The portion of food was a good lunch size. The lo mein had mostly firm noodles with tender shrimp(not deveined, but found clean anyways) and minimal carrot and cabbage. The fried rice(light yellow color) had mostly soft cooked fluffy rice with minimal small roast pork pieces & scallions. The food was very simple and tasted pretty good and was filling, under $ 5.
