I’m taking 1 star because they open so late in the day. when most pools open at 8−9am, this one doesn’t open until 1pm! I’m taking the 2nd star away cause they close between 5−6pm for an hour, they lock the place up and make you leave, completely interrupting your«day at the pool». I’m taking another because they make you pay again, the full price, when you come back to swim the rest of the day from 6−8pm. Although it isn’t costly, it’s completely unnecessary and a total inconvenience. One last star taken because any flotation devices such as a life jacket or arm floaties or noodles… They actually make you rent them… With cash, you have to pay and rent the pool toys. What? It really seems to me like its a cheap place that is looking for any and all opportunities to suck a little more cash out of you. And being such a small town, it took me by surprise. My kids and I walked from the other side of town with enough money to spend the whole day there, was«kicked out», waited in the park for an hour, got very hot making it miserable…, told we had to pay to get back in, all that lead to very disappointed children and mama when the life guard laughed at us as she explained we had to pay again. I would give it zero stars but keeping one only because they had a slide that lead into the shallower end, which is always cool. That and they do have a small concession stand that sells drink, candy, chips and such. Not a bad size pool either, complete with a diving board, picnic tables and benches.
