Limited menu and staff that seems to hate the job. The first thing I tried was the meatball sandwich. It got rave reviews and there’s a picture of the Hungry Hound next to the register promoting it. The sandwich was good. Unfortunately that’s the only edible thing in the menu Breakfast is quite limited and prepared in a manner that I’m sure warrants a visit from the food inspector. Eggs are cracked into a bowl and nuked. The same hands that handled the raw eggs now pull a bagel out of a bag for your sandwich– no gloves. No hand washing. Only wiping in a towel that seems to double as a method to wipe down the counter at other times. The same hands also handle payment. Next customer? Wipe the hands on the multi purpose towel. Lunch is just okay. Not worth the money for what you get. The chicken wrap is decent but is always made with stale croutons. If they would give up on those it would be good. Stay away from most of the daily specials. The pork roast on Thursdays seems to make my coworkers sick and is pulled out from the kitchen. No idea if it’s sitting out on a table or what. It does appear to be an Encore entrée so maybe it’s freshly nuked? Common theme here is no gloves for food handling, poor hygiene and the front staff always appears to hate the place. Occasionally the owner is there bossing them around but she quickly disappears into the kitchen. Maybe if she stuck around she could see the poor hygiene if her staff and understand why her sales are low My advice– avoid at all costs unless you are trapped in the building by a storm and even then order with cation

Save your money & Time … Times are tough when you have to re-use your noodles. I got a container of noodles from Café Nucci & the next day they were moldy in my fridge! I will never go to this café ever again & If your lucky they give discounts only to the people they like … and their prices change all the time. The milk in the fridge is always spoiled… they sell cans of pop with ice from a pop machine.(makes no sense) They handle money then dont wash their hands when they go to grab your food from the cook to plate it up for you. YUCK! I used to enjoy the chicken salad there. but mainly everything that comes into that place is not made by them. it comes in a bag… sad.

I’ve given this place another chance and have come to enjoy their Summer Salad with Nucci dressing. The dressing is homemade and quite tasty. I get the salad with grilled chicken… a good salad.

DONOTEATHERE!!! I have eaten here a handful of times and the food is way overpriced, and the service is horrible!!! I had a man who knew the owner just walked in off the street and walked into the cooking area, opened up the oven and moved my breakfast sandwich with his bare hands to make room for his food. I made them remake my sandwich and I have never returned.

I had the Marco Polo wrap, which was reasonably tasty, with grilled chicken, basil, fresh mozz, and bacon. It’s a decent little place, and probably one of the better inexpensive places around the Rosemont Convention Center, if you don’t feel like spending $ 20 on lunch at Gibson’s. Best wrap of my life? Not close. Better and cheaper than the food at the convention center? Definitely.

«It’s pepper egg day!!» To be honest, you are never gonna go to Café Nucci unless you work in the same building or right around there. Its in the World Headquarters of Life Fitness… it’s small and only open till 3 everyday, so its not like you are gonna go after work. Buuttt all that being said, the ONLY thing worth getting off their menu is served on Friday and its the pepper and egg sandwich. Its traditionally served during lent on Fridays when a lot of people can’t eat meat. This is probably the best one I’ve had in the Chicagoland area and it is definetly worth sending someone out from your office to pick up a few on Friday mornings. You will love it, they serve it with an italian sausage for $ 1 extra, thats up to you… being that mean to my ateries in the morning is just wrong :-) Btw, they have a full on menu but its pretty run of the mill. I decided to be adventurous and get the spaghetti and meatballs one time and I got A meatball… thats singular… last time I made that mistake… stick to the pepper egg and you’ll be happy

A particularily disgusting and bland little boîte that I am forced to seek sustenance at during my self imposed professional(and thankfully temporary) exile in the hideous, no-reason-to-exist suburb of Schiller Park. The food is odious. Bland. Shoddily presented. A bagel with processed cheese food substitute, microwaved eggs and faux ham has a faint taste of the food worker’s horrible, cheap perfume. Revolting. Breakfast orders consistently wrong. A request for BROWN mustard prompts a three minute discussion, no I don’t want«honey mustard», I want REAL mustard. Don’t bother. Another reason to detest the suburbs.

As someone who never carries cash, I am usually disappointed with restaurants that don’t accept credit/debit. It is even more disappointing when the food isn’t that great. We went there for lunch one day to try because it is close to my work. The prices were fairly reasonable, until you added on the $ 2 surcharge for using the ATM machine-contraption. You can find much better food in the actual city — I wouldn’t waste your time driving out to a ‘burb for this one. Sorry :(
