Love this particular store. The lines are reasonable and store isn’t as packed as other BJ stores where I’ve shopped. Clean and well stocked. Prices and stock as you’d expect. Organized well. Staff is helpful and pretty quick to respond.

Memo to self: when Googling for this particular franchise, make sure«safe search» is on STRICT. I’m not a huge fan of the wholesale club concept, which while admittedly saving you money tends to trick one into purchasing quantities of things one does not need in those quantities, and which features a ton of stuff that can qualify as «cheap crap». That said, BJ’s is at least better than Sam’s Club, although not as good as Costco(why are there no Costcos in upstate? Anybody?) BJ’s is well laid-out, following the usual pattern of food in the back and high-margin bright consumables in the front. The seasonal stock is kept in decent order here and the lines run well, which is usually the part of the wholesale store that sends me screaming in the opposite direction. Staff help is minimal but pleasant when engaged. Can I go here to find anything more complicated than toilet paper, and hope to have it in stock? No. Is there a generic«brand» as reliable as Costco’s? No. Will you save money here? Maybe, if you’re focused on what you need and not what you see. I realize that’s a pretty generic review for a wholesale club store but that may be part of the point.

love it! But they need bags or something to put your little things in.
