We enjoyed the wine, the bread and our appetizer coconut shrimp. My husband loves lamb and balsamic glaze but these chops were way over done and tasted burnt. I had the rainbow trout and enjoyed every bite. The waitress was very welcoming and attentive. We will go back again and probably will order only fish.

Top notch on all levels! The service was most impressive… friendly and extremely prompt. Classic restaurant/bar atmosphere, the tuna steak entrée was nothing short of perfect as well as the specialty mango sauce. I highly recommend this fine establishment for anyone who appreciates a satisfying dining experience. Oh, and the macadamia brownie dessert is freaking awesome!

Good service, good food but lacking a little flavor! Busy place so good to make reservations at weekend. Calamari was tasty. Trout was very bland but the green beans were tasty and cooked aldente. The spinach in olive oil and garlic was good. The ahi tuna was ok, also bland and nothing special. Lemons to squeeze on the fish would have been a novel idea considering it’s a fish restaurant! The lime tomato garlic sauce really had little to no zest. Crème Brulee dessert was pretty good! Ok experience.

This place is awesome! I have always wanted to try it since I live so close but never have until yesterday. The place has classy décor and is very warm and welcoming. My girlfriend and I came yesterday and I ordered the Ahi Tuna steak while she had the tilapia. Out server was very friendly and polite. We ordered the cosmo martini and it was very good. Our waitress accidentally forgot to bring out out salads but the manager bill came up to us and offered us 2 more drinks on the house to make up for it. It more than made up for it! The food and service was top notch and we will be back!

I went to a restaurant called the Bonefish Grill. They have wood grilled fish. I order the Atlantic Salmon with herb pesto sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and couscous. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the garlic mashed potatoes were very good. The couscous was fresh but it seemed under cooked, but I am not a big couscous fan

Went here last night with my husband. I absolutely loved it!!! First, we started with the bang bang shrimp. Holy moly, those are absolutely delicious. Then I ordered a special Halloween prix fix that included salad, entrée and dessert. I got the shrimp and scallops with the line tomato garlic sauce and the pan Asian sauce(I couldn’t decide), spaghetti squash and potatoes au gratin. Everything was outrageously yummy except the potatoes that were slightly underdone. Then for dessert, I had the coconut pie… which wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t bad either. My husband ordered mahi Oscar and he enjoyed that a great deal also. I honestly liked this place for many reasons… the food, the service and the ambiance. I will, without a doubt, return. I had such a lovely experience!!!

Not happy with our last experience at bonefish. Used to be our favorite restaurant. Went on Halloween this year and had the following experience: ordered the roasted red pepper soup and it came out cold. Ordered the lobster Halloween special and it was the smallest lobster portion I’ve ever had. In addition probably the driest lobster I’ve had. Sangria not as strong as before and the bang bang shrimp seemed soggy to us. Quality is suffering here and you’re Losing our vote bonefish!

If I could give a review with zero stars, I certainly would. Why? Well, that would be because I became violently ill within 30 minutes of eating the red pepper and tomato soup. I was unable to eat my entrée and my husband and I were compelled to leave. I spent the next 4 hours vomiting. I felt terrible for days, and eventually it concluded with intestinal distress. Upon calling the restaurant, I was asked for my info to give their insurance company. When contacted the agent indicated that no one else reported becoming ill so obviously it could not be a food borne illness. I don’t understand that conclusion without adequate testing. I was told that I may have food allergies. Respectfully, I do not. In the past I had eaten here several times before with satisfactory experiences. I currently have lost all confidence in the basic food safety practices of this establishment and their protocols for responding to questionable practices. I will never dine at any Bonefish Grill again. For those of you that choose to, I encourage you to report any circumstances involving illness related to your dining experience.

Very good food but also a little pricey. I had the fish and chips and ordered some sushi appetizers. Everything was fantastic. Service was also very good and the décor is what you expect from an upscale restaurant. It can get real busy at times, but it’s a mark of a good restaurant for sure. Highly recommend it!

Tonight our server was Anita… I have frequented this place many times. Anita was exceptional. She was patient as out party of 8 slowly arrived due to traffics then quickly dwindled down to a party of 5. The bang bang shrimp appetizer and crab cakes never disappoint. Anita recommended the Wild Orchid Hawaiian Martini, perfect! I have never had a bad meal at Bonefish. I do recommend making reservations because they do get busy.

I’ve heard about this place for a while now but never really bothered to check it out. Well today was finally the day. Located next to the Schaumburg library, this place was the only place with a filled parking lot in that location. When we got there at 5:40, the parking was already getting cramped which is always a good sign. We ordered the: Ahi Tuna Sashimi:(around 10 dollars for a «regular»)” It was seared well on the outside. Came on a bed of lettuce with wasabi, soy, pickled ginger and a sauce on top of the fish.(See Picture) Bang Bang Shrimp(10.50): What this place is famous for. I completely get why it is so popular. The shrimp are tender on the inside and fried crispy with a spicy and creamy sauce. Very good. Blackberry Smash:(3.50): For the price, I’m surprised there isn’t any booze in it but either way this is one fantastically tasty and refreshing drink. Its fruity and minty and just sweet enough. Reminds me of a fruitier mojito.(See picture) Lobster roll.(around 16 dollars): They certainly didn’t skimp on the lobster unlike way too many other places around here. You can see giant chunks everywhere. It came with a coleslaw that had a sweet ginger kick which I liked and some fries. Unfortunately they burned my bun but the management was very quick to try and rectify the situation. Every meal here comes with fresh bread which was delicious and olive oil with pesto. Overall I’d say this place is a winner for food and especially service. The moment I pointed out the roll in my lobster roll was burned, management came by a minute later and offered me another order of it. I didn’t take it but they ended up not charging me for the dish which was very thoughtful. Our server was quick, knowledgeable and on point. We will definitely be back.

Bonefish is a pretty well run chain. Prices are moderate and the food is good The wine list is so so but they did. have a good deal in the 2012 Caymus Overall, if you want good seafood at a good price this is worth the trip

Great food when it is ordered correctly. Poor service by a pushy waiter. He explained two specials and when we ordered them, he put in the more expensive, incorrect counterpart. When the order needed to be corrected, the waiter took 15 minutes to bring it out, but spent most of that time chatting with coworkers and did not check in with the kitchen. At the end of the meal they brought out complimentary ice cream to make up for the faults, but then took back our bill to add it on. Very disappointed in service and customer loyalty. Will not be going back.

My husband i were reading this restaurant ‘s reviews and decided to give it a try. Bang bang shrimp — the crunch and heat to it is ok. Oscar Omelet — hubby ordered something light but he mentioned how he couldn’t taste the crab and the asparagus was a bit overwhelming. Crème Brule french toast — i picked this because i love crème Brule. For some reason, the char from the bread was so strong it gave me a weird taste after one bite. I know they served it with whipped and mint plus strawberries but thats what got me excited the most. Maybe i will try this again without it being way too burnt. Overall it was a good experience. Maybe my expectations were a little high.

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I came to Bonefish Grill but for some reason expected the décor and ambiance to be fancier than what it was. I’m not saying it took away from my experience but the décor was a bit outdated especially the fabric on the back of the booths which looked like they belonged on your grandma’s couch. Ok enough rambling about that. I had a great dinner at Bonefish Grill celebrating my friend’s belated birthday and am glad I finally had the opportunity to dine here. Service was spot on; we had a hilarious waiter(Anthony) who not only was entertaining but was helpful and extremely nice. He kept threatening to make us help clean and put up the chairs at the end of the night if we shut the place down(which we did, we stayed until 10:30 catching up haha). In addition to great service, the food was delicious. They give you complimentary bread and a pesto oil dipping sauce which was great since I had just worked out and was ravenous. After long pondering over the menu, I ordered one of the specials which was swordfish with goat cheese served over pumpkin ravioli and a side of spaghetti squash. My friends both ordered the Tilapia Imperial which was stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crab meat, and lemon caper butter. I didn’t try any of the tilapia but they said it was yummy so I’m taking their word for it. As for my entrée, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The swordfish had a meatier texture and the goat cheese was a good creamy addition. I really enjoyed the pumpkin ravioli which sweet and savory but tasted more like butternut squash. You should check out Bonefish Grill for some good food and great service.

Wow, I just had an awesome dining experience at Bonefish Grill. I was surprised because I have passed this place every day for the past 10 years and never tried it until recently. From the food to the service, everything was well executed but the real kicker was the Bang Bang Shrimp — it’s seriously the bomb. It’s fried shrimp tossed in a creamy sweet and spicy sauce with a touch of an unknown addictive substance. If fried bite size pieces of succulent shrimp tossed in mayo, Thai chili sauce, and sriracha doesn’t excite you, then you won’t enjoy what makes the shrimp so bang bang. It’s highly addictive and might have been laced with something because I am having withdrawal symptoms. The menu is reasonably priced from small plates to large entrees. Our scallops were cooked well and I loved the ahi tuna tacos. Bonefish is really the perfect inbetweener with the variety and the price point. It’s a step up from Red Lobster and not as expensive as Shaw’s. Just don’t forget about the Bang Bang Shrimp(intentional redundancy).
