This is conveniently located on Roselle Road just south of Wise, near the JewelOsco at Roselle/​Wise Rds. What isn’t convenient is that you can’t just walk in for a manicure even though the door says «Walk-​ins Welcome». I walked in on a beautiful Saturday around noontime, and there was exactly one customer there getting her hair done and one or two employees (one was working, the other was just sitting there chatting).
The lady who was working on the customer’s hair told me to give her a minute when I told her I wanted to get a no-​chip manicure. When she was able to put on hold what she was doing, she finally walked up to the desk and told me that their nail tech is «on-​call» and provided me with «a menu of our services» and to try to make an appointment next time. I guess offering to see if someone could come in right then wasn’t worth it to them.
Maybe I didn’t look like I had much money since I had run out of my house with my hair a mess and just wearing a tank top and running shorts. Either way, I wasn’t too impressed especially if you’re not going to be a very busy salon, I would think you would work better at gaining new customers. And I would recommend they take down the «Walk-​in Welcome» sign… because I walked in and was not welcomed at all.
