White Management Ltd

I am a tennant in White Plains and both Trey and Kristin have been so good to me. Trey told me when ever I have a question to call him. Kristin is the same.

I am also an owner of a coop apt in a building managed by White Management Ltd and I rent my apt. The management company before White Management took control were atrocious so I looked forward to another management. It seems my tenant had a leak in the apt but refused to open the door to let in the superintendent. I received a notice to cure from White Management lawyers and I immediately made the apt available to the super and plumber. I thought the problem was resolved. To my surprise I receive a bill for almost $ 2500 for lawyer fees. I called the management company and explained if I was notified sooner, they wouldn’t have had to have lawyers involved. I was told they sent several letters to my current address and received no response from me. I stated that can not be true because I get their maint fee bills EVERY month so why all of a sudden now they can’t contact me. Their answer is John White has the letters stored in his computer that were sent to me. I requested a copy of those letters and proof they were sent before the notice of cure. That was 2 months ago and I haven’t gotten an answer, only a $ 2500 bill every month on top of my maint fee. I’m charged finance fee and late charges because of this. Why is White Management doing this to me? I just want this cleared up and I hope the letters I requested aren’t fabricated. I honestly didn’t receive any notice from Management prior to the letter from their lawyers.

We tenants continue to have problems.
And despite many attempts to contact white management about issues with the Super and with the onslaught of mice in the building (hmmmm so the extermination company only comes 1 a month on Thursdays when most people work, that is helpful) nothing has changed.
The tenants are now contacting the White Plains Department of Buildings directly to get help and heat.
