I brought my two sons here after one of the hairdressers what I was looking for as far as a cut. I showed her several pictures and she said it was not hard to do and not a problem at all. It took a very long time to cut their hair — over an hour and what we ended up with was hardly worth the time. My one son was supposed to get a «boy band shag». His was the most disappointing. He ended up with a mullet. Short tapered hair on the sides and long in the back. It’s awful. My other son just needed his hair to be evened out. I had to stop her because she was going shorter and shorter and it was just not coming out right. I couldn’t keep a two year old sitting in the chair for more than 20 minutes and we were teetering on that. I am so unhappy with this experience. The hairdresser was very nice (that’s the two star review) but shouldn’t claim to know how to do something if you don’t. I also don’t understand how you can look at several pictures, say it’s not difficult and then have us walk out with something that isn’t even close. My older son said he wanted his hair back. I honestly feel the same way. Never ever again.

Love Joey and the staff. He always gave the best cuts to my thick hair. If I didn’t move so far away would still go to him. Highly recommend him. He stays up to date with styles, and trends, and trust me when you leave people will stop and ask where you had your hair done for weeks after. I plan on returning when i am back in the area, so worth it.

Management here is terrible. I was very unhappy with the way my hair came out. After sitting there for 3 hours, it looked exactly the same as when I walked into the salon. I paid a ton of money for absolutely nothing. I expressed that kindly to the manager and she was rude and told me Joesph would call me back, weeks later and they still never called me back. Don’t waste your money.

Joey is a complete sweetheart and a really great stylist. He is a pro with a lot of experience. The salon is very pretty and very clean. Everyone was so nice and I felt comfortable there right away. Recommend it!

I highly recommend Joseph Cara Salon! I think Joey is a fabulous stylist and I have been going to him for over 25 years now. He always gives me great hair advice. I have never once been disappointed in my cuts, color or keratin treatments. Go get your hair done at Joseph Cara. You will not be disappointed and I know you will go back again and again!!!
