Needs a renovation in the worst way. How is this place still existing as is in Scarsdale? Not at all what you’d expect in the village. The prepared foods section is connected to the deli counter, and everything looked like it was sitting in there for years. No kale in sight. The absolute opposite of a gourmet market, which is what Scarsdale needs in the village. All other Decicco’s I’ve been to are much nicer and are geared towards a more upscale clientele. Not so at this location. Renovate please so I can shop here!

Great location but definitely getting run down! All the employees are helpful and very professional!

Scarsdale deserves better than this for a supermarket, in fact, everyone, anywhere on the planet deserves better than this place. Entering it is like entering a supermarket museum, circa 1985. It has literally never been updated. It’s small, cramped and dirty. Virtually no gourmet offerings. Weak, weak, weak. I only go there if I’m absolutely desperate.

Hot food is good but I wish the sesame chicken wasn’t spicy. I wasn’t even going to mention it, but since everybody else did, the cashiers don’t look happy at all. Also crank up the heat it’s cold.

In a pinch it’s fine. Just not a very inspiring effort. Hard to believe the Ardsley store is the same brand. Great cold beer selection! Speaking of cold the checkout crew is usually pretty icy.

Friendly people. Business does a good job of working a small space. Convenient location for me near train. Always a line, but they move quick.

Great beer selection for the impromptu beer run heading for Scarsdale train station on way home. The cashiers here are absolutely the worst I’ve ever encountered. The most disinterested and un-engaging cashiers in the world.

Place is not clean, checkout lines are so small and cramped. Women working on checkout do the bare minimum and never smile. If I am the only one on line and spending $ 200 nobody helps to bag(other checkout lady just watching me bag my own groceries instead of helping). Fruit is not fresh and way over priced. Only the fish/sushi department are worth going in for… the Japanese men care about quality and they are attentive to customers. My neighbor found a rubber glove in her chicken salad and the«fresh mozerella» is not always fresh. The DeCicco in Ardsley is 10x nicer and the workers are friendly, helpful and groceries are bagged instantly. I have no reason to bother with the one in Scarsdale.

WOW… this place has everything you could possibly need or want and the freshness, presentation and standards are impeccable… I only wish that there was one a bit closer to my home. Delicioso!

Meh. I’m not really a fan. This place looks a little worn and — dare I say it about something that’s located in Scarsdale — a bit dirty. Everything here looks crammed together and the aisles are arranged in a haphazard manner, but perhaps that’s because it seems to be an older store. The vegetables and fruit look limp and generally unappealing, and everything just appears, well, dirty. I don’t know any other way to put it. It certainly may not BE dirty, but everything just looks like it needs a good scrub-down. Case in point: I picked up a can of anchovies here for a recipe and the can was completely greasy. Neither it nor the cans around it had been broken or opened, yet they were all greasy to the touch. Gross. I became wary of buying anything else at DeCicco’s until I was forced here on a last-minute mini-grocery run. Some of DeCicco’s prices are up there, I must say. It’s ridiculous to charge nearly $ 4 for a box of crackers, and more ridiculous that I actually bought them. But they were not greasy, so it was money(fairly) well-spent. The cashiers all look like they hate the place and the checkout lanes barely exist, so my advice for those who shop at DeCicco’s is to buy what you have to buy and get out. At least with this particular location, it’s not a store that invites lingering.
