I was a little worried since I had to eat early and the restaurant was almost empty. Turned out it was simply my timing the restaurant is filling up and the food is delicious. No seafood for me, I ordered the spicy burger with kettle chips and it was amazing! I love spice and I didn’t think this was over the top. Servers are courteous and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Always good drinks but never enough seating at this location! I know they opened up another one downtown which is great. I usually just go in get my drink and come sit by the river and relax if the weather is nice.

It’s sugary, it’s sweet, it’s filled with alcohol that you can’t even taste… It’s Wet Willie’s! Three years ago I visited Savannah for the first time and one of our first stops was Wet Willie’s. Coming back on my most recent adventure in Savannah, having grown and matured(some), I’ve got to say, Wet Willie’s still has a special place in my heart. It’s not something that I recommend you get often, but that once a year stop will certainly set you up with one of two things: the beginning to a great night and potentially a terrible hangover. Located right on River Street, if you’re adventuring around Savannah, you’ll probably pass by their shop. Try some samples(mix and match any flavors you want!) and if all else fails, just grab a small to split between two. We went with a Piña colada, strawberry and banana slushy, which was surprisingly good. They pack enough sugar in these drinks to mitigate any alcohol flavor, but it’s filled with 190 proof grain liquor, so be careful! If you’re down for fun and the weather is warm, I highly recommend making a stop in at Wet Willie’s(and taking it to go!), in my mind it’s a partying in Savannah tradition.

I’ve been visiting Savannah every year since 2000 when my parents moved down to South Carolina. It was only this year that I tried Wet Willies when my daughter was finally 21 and convinced me to get one with her. Holy moly I’ve been missing out! My favorite concoction: Call a cab + attitude improvemrnt + piña colada Be careful though, these will put you on your a$$!

Slashes with booze. This is not artisanal, this is brute force alcohol. But it does taste good, and you can walk around the river area with them. Samples were generous and large. The bartender was very friendly.

Okay so I have to admit, we did not eat here, I mean why would you. This place is for getting your drink on, and we did! The staff was very friendly and the samples flowed until you made your choice. I would recommend if you go here to make sure you don’t have to drive as you will not have your wits about you. Try the Call A Cab and call a cab.

Slushies were very good! We went during lunch time and our waitress sucks she forgot our appetizer. Overall the food we did get was yummy, just not worth the wait. Definitely a grab a drink and go kinda place.

Fun stop, but don’t stay long. Get your free samples and order a sports bottle for $ 20 if you are willing to share. The refills are only $ 8.00 and you can take it to go. Try the Bob Marley I think it was a mix of call a cab and green apple. They even have a few sugarfree options if you want, but not nearly as good.

The staff here are very friendly. The drinks aren’t that strong. I am guessing the local PD don’t want drunken tourists staggering everywhere, possibly getting hit by cars. And there is the«white trash» factor when you walk around the city drinking alcohol out of a clear plastic cup. Super classy.

Wouldn’t be a trip to Savannah without a Call Me A Cab from Wet Willie’s.

So fun! I had heard friends talk about Wet Willies & how you can take your booze to go in Savannah, so it was one of the first place my husband took me when we walked down to River Street. Staff was friendly & they offer samples if you’re not sure what to order. I went with the Piña Colada & it was very tasty. Not too sweet, just right. My husband ordered the Peach flavor & said it was a little to sweet for him. Of course he drank it, we’re not monsters ;-). They had a whole wall of flavors to choose from and people were even mixing the flavors. We went twice doing our trip to Savannah & split a sugar free«call a cab» while waiting for a brunch spot. I see where it gets it’s name! I loved it & the surrounding area.

Alcoholic slushies and lots of them! They have a wide variety of flavors and can also mix them as well. My personal favorite is monkey business and chocolate Thunder(I think that’s the names of them). One tastes like a banana daiquiri and the other one like a fudgecicle. I would recommend a small because they will eventually melt and they novelty is worn off in the liquid form. Also! You can carry your drink outside.

2nd time here. We got here at 3pm or so and the bartender was really nice and let the indecisive people in our group try multiple samples with a smile. I bought the round of drinks which came out to 5 – 6 $each. Place was clean and the drinks were a bargain for all that alcohol

Ok! Super amazing daiquiris! We tried the call o cab, bob Marley, margarita and a few others… Call o can has lots of booze in it and will for sure get u drunks drunk. Bob Marley was the perfect mix of lots of booze and delicious daiquiri. The phoenix rolls were also really really good! I will go back here.

When in Rome. Errr Savannah. Wet Willie’s is just such a great guilty pleasure that you can’t skip it. Drop in, get a grain alcohol slushie to go, and walk around River Street(legally!) while enjoying your frozen concoction. The Call A Cab is white girl wasted in a cup, so I stick with the margarita. Honestly their drinks are about as bad as Hand Grenades are in New Orleans, but it’s just one of those things you need to do. Cheers y’all!

This unique bar offers alcohol in the form of slushies– something hubby and I just had to try. The atmosphere is awesome and creative. I love the concept more than the drinks themselves. The drinks we got were ok but not so outstanding that I have to come back and get another one. I would definitely come back but this time I will keep in mind that fact that you can try samples! Hubby and I definitely didn’t hear his friend mention this and we just ordered what looked good. THEN hubbs asked about samples and we tried some different stuff. Oops. We will likely come back and maybe try some food. Our friend mentions this is a fun place to come to so maybe it’d be more fun if we were with a group and actually staying in there to hang out. Liked: — Bahama Mama Slushie(hubby fav) — Shock Treatment Slushie Disliked: — Call a Cab Slushie — Mango Slushie — Sour Apple Slushie(hubby liked)

I love Wet Willies and their daiquiris, so the hubby surprised me and took me to the Savannah water walk location! I went in and as with every wet willies you can taste the flavor before you make a final decision. I tried a few flavors and the bartender even made me the famous Bob Marley. I ended up mixing the shock treatment and the piña colada. The bartender was manning about 4 – 5 people and did a good job of making samples, drinks, and ringing up tabs. He told me that the Savannah location was the first one ever – which was a fun fact to me about this franchise. Anyway, love this location, my drink was perfect and I would surely come back if I’m in the area again!

After doing a little bit of research just for kicks(jk I’m a true nerd, I love researching shit) I realized that we had one in San Diego but it has permanently closed. Being the Cali girl that I am, hating the humidity this south has and wanting to get turnt up I came across this awesome place that apparently sells bomb daiquiris. I’ll be the judge of that I said to myself. It was perfect for the weather, over 10 flavors to choose from, free samples great location right across from the river walk and most importantly strong enough to cool you off. I came here 4 fucken times that day because they were so delicious and I wanted to get a good buzz for my ghost tour. I ended up getting the piña colada I tried the«call a cab» was a bit stronger I didn’t enjoy the cough syrup flavor. So I stuck w/my choice 4 times don’t judge me! Their names are catchy from«attitude adjustment» to «shock treatment», «naked willie» to «chocolate thunder». Anyhoot, I wish they would open one in California because this place was hella tasty! *Southern accent * my lil sweet peas I highly recommend this place if yall strolling down the river walk in Savannah.

I know. I know. How can you not give 5 stars to a place that serves booze-laced slushies? And let’s not forget the perfect marriage of yummy booze slushies to that of a wonderful open container law. Oh My, George Takei. Yes, it all sounds good, and if you love this New Orleans Style Mega-Daiquiri experience then you are in for a heavenly treat. However, there are a few down sides to Wet Willies that must be noted. First, it is going to attract a college crowd or at the very least bring out the frat boy in your dad or uncle so that can be a little weird to say the least. «Mother, get down from that table.» Next, there are so many delicious flavors from which to choose that you could find yourself drinking a little more than you wanted. At this point, I suggest sharing drinks with a buddy so that you can each order a different flavor and share your way to a Wet Willie stupor. Finally, some of the flavors are just eh and very sweet. My favorite was anything resembling a mudslide, for I think that this is where Wet Willie’s rocks the yummy… but that is just my opinion. However, when all this said and done, Wet Willie’s is certainly a fun time, and something you really need to try with a group of people. It is just perfect for any party occasion… just make sure that you keep an eye on Mom, for some of those tasty flavors have been known to bring out the animal the parental unit. «Mother, get down from that table. You’re not in college anymore.»
