I loved this place. I’m not sure why it got such bad reviews. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. They leave complimentary RC colas and moonpies in your room for you instead of a mint on the pillow. They have free popcorn and lemonade in the lobby during the day, and free donuts, coffee and juice in the mornings. The homemade soaps and lotions smelled wonderful. We found the staff eager to help with anything. I would definately stay here again.

A wretched, disgusting, filthy, little hovel. Sleep in your car instead.

This is primarily a semi-permanent residence for locals on government support or who are otherwise just getting by. My room smelled bad: old cigarette smoke and incense. The smoke alarm had been removed. The lamp on one side of the bed had exposed wires. There was no trash can. There was what looked to me like an eerie, head-sized burn mark on the left side of my bed’s headboard. When I told some locals I ran into where I was saying, they said, emphatically, «Go back there now. Get your stuff. Find another place to stay. It’s dangerous.» I’m a fairly intrepid traveler, but even I wedged a chair against the doorknob for the night because I just didn’t feel entirely safe. However: my night passed uneventfully, my bed was comfortable(although smelly) and I woke up without any bug bites. If I had to do it again, I’d pay a little more and go elsewhere.
