St. Joseph’s / Candler Immediate Care

Very nice place. Up to date furniture in the lobby and pretty clean! The nurses were friendly as well. I only went for a drug test for a new job and it took about 20 minutes! Overall ⁴⁄₅ stars!

Unlike Amanda I had to wait longer but they were more friendly and helped me more than my primary at home… Would recommend to anyone

a waste of time and money. i was very sick the mourning i went in to this place they did no testing spent very little time with my diagnosis. did not find out how sick i was until i went to my pcp on monday. details to many to go into just beware!

Went in at about 7pm feeling miserable, and I was seen in about 10 or 15 minutes. Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant and helpful. They called my prescription in to my pharmacy so it was just about ready when I got there. Already feeling MUCH better. Hopefully won’t have to go back anytime soon, but they would be my first choice!

My husband and I arrived at St. Jospeh’s Candler Hospital’s emergency department late in the evening. I was suffering from chest pain that was not intense and was hard to pin down. I was very frightened, had no history of heart trouble, and chose St. Joseph’s Candler because of its staff and technology dedicated to heart care, in case I needed it.
Their staff was friendly, I spent no time in the waiting room, and my workup was begun as soon as I was rolled into an exam room. They were just wonderful to me, and I was so impressed with how they explained even the smallest details before they did any test or blood work. The test equipment (X-​Ray, CT scan) were very close by – no need to leave the area. The results of tests done were received and communicated back to me by the doctors in very short order.
I was released after the testing, secure in the knowledge that further information could be gathered without emergency speed, so I could go home and pursue that information through a referral from my regular physician.
Thank you, St. Joseph’s Candler Emergency Department staff and doctors, and thank you to the hospital that provides such good equipment and personnel. I would definitely return there again if the need arose.

I had a mystery pain and don’t have a doctor I see on a regular basis. I went here full of misgivings, fearing that the wait would be terrible on a Monday morning, that since it was a doc in the box sort of place that the facility would be less than desirable.
Totally unjustified. I was the only one in the sleek, dimly lit (VERY relaxing) waiting room, and only had to wait all of 10 minutes, if that.
I was seen, diagnosed correctly, and sent off to the hospital with an appointment there to confirm the diagnosis.
Everyone here was incredibly nice and I felt like they actually cared about my complaints, rather than just throwing a prescription at me and telling me to wait and see.
If I ever need them again, I definitely will not hesitate.
