Everything is super fresh BUT my husbands bacon egg and cheese bagel was served with burnt bacon. The ordering system here is a lot like panera. It’s a local panera.

Cute little diner with SUPER friendly staff. I got the eggatarian croissant and it was amazing. I love the energy there. Plus it’s affordable and quick!

We stopped here on the way to greenville South Carolina and even stopped again on our way home. The homemade croissants are amazing! I had the eggs benedict Savannah style and my boyfriend had ham egg and cheese crossant. We shared the bread pudding which is an absolute must try! Home made hot chocolate was to die for as well. The line moves really quickly and the staff is friendly, especially the owner who works the counter.

Was a cool way to get breakfast. Sort of like back in the cafeteria at school. Coffee was kickass. Waffles were amazing. Place was packed so you know it’s good! Staff were very friendly. Wish I could have tried one of the baked goods. They all looked amazing.

I don’t give 5 stars on breakfast every day. But this place is too good. Service is fast, coffee is amazingly good and food is to die for and even the owner was the one that took my order.

Okay not as good as I excepted it to be but it’s still a good place for brunch. I just don’t really like their bread pudding because it’s cold and really sweet but other than that everything else is really good.

We just scraped in before closing time for lunch, and I’m delighted we did. Goose Feathers has excellent, fresh food; nice staff; and is great value as well. We had a selection of brunchy items– waffles, pancakes, juice, sandwiches, eggs. Everyone of the four of us enjoyed the whole meal, and, despite the place getting ready to close, we never felt rushed and can only say good things. Thanks for the excellent experience, and we hope to be back!

I kind of get the draw, maybe. We had a few things and they were good. Nothing was amazing though. I guess New York really does do things better. The croissant with poached eggs and pesto thing was awesome. Everything was good and it’s a big deal that nothing was disappointing but I suppose with all the hype behind this place I expected more; more options, more intrigue, more flavor. I’d go back but I’d never wait on the long lines like the pictures show. The thing is there just aren’t many options. Stick to the croissants though, they are homemade and deserving of the visit alone.

The food is only ok. I ordered the Eggetarian but added bacon to it. The bacon was cold chewy and the sandwich was missing the hollandaise… they gave me hollandaise when I asked for some though. The croissant was soggy, like the poached eggs were placed on a microwaved croissant with a spoonful of their water. But I was also disappointed in the overall atmosphere and the fact that they use styrofoam cups. Even their water cups are styrofoam, gross. It’s 2016, just bite the bullet and get recyclable paper cups, jeez.

The line was out the door when we showed up mid morning on a Wednesday. This was okay as it moved quick and we needed a few minutes to decide what to get. Turns out that they were already out of the Sticky Buns for the day. So the order was«bread pudding», an Eggel Bagel, Breakfast Panini and a couple of coffee’s. We ate outside, the bread pudding was brought out first. I’d never had it before. It was good but a bit weird for breakfast. The bagel and the panini were brought out and breakfast was complete. We had the right level of service at the outside table and the experience was great. I’d go back if I’m in Savannah

Here’s my update. I had to lower my stars because of 2 things. First, was the food. Second was how they TALKED to a 3 year old and 7 year old! Once again I had the eggetarian with ham added, it was delicious although a little cold. My wife had the eggetarian also and enjoyed it. I also got their special(breakfast burrito 5.95 with sausage). Now my two children split a scrambled egg and waffle. They love eggs but wouldn’t eat these after the first bite! When I tried my burrito I could see why. They were not good. I SWEAR that the scrambled eggs they used were POWDERED eggs! Bland burrito and not very good. Secondly, we waited 40 minutes in line with a 7 year old autistic child and a 3 year old. When the 7 year old wanted to sit we made him read the sign that said you had to order first. Now, the main floor manager allowed a family of four, who was several people behind us to go ahead and sit while the mom waited in line to order. Both my children didn’t understand why they got to sit and not follow the rules. When we ordered both my children walked and sat down at the closest 4 top table while I grabbed silverware and wife grabbed water. as I approached the table I saw my autistic son and 3 year old daughter staring up and the manager in confusion and trepidation as he barked«SIR, have you ordered yet? SIR, have you ordered yet?» At my 7 and 3 year old! Theses are little children who your barking, not even asking nicely, questions at without any parents right next to them. Obviously we were there because the same man counted us as four at least 4 different times once we got into the building. When I walked up and said excuse me sir to stop him from questioning my children he turned and Barked at me «Have you ordered yet?» I immediately pointed to the other table that was sitting before they ordered and asked«Have they ordered yet?» He followed with, «They have a highchair.» «So if I got a high. hair I could sit before I order?» He said, «They have a baby. Where is YOUR order!» Now don’t get me wrong, I get a baby, or a pregnant woman or elderly sitting. I’ll give them my seat but this kid didn’t sit in his high chair(which he barely fit in) until after they got their food and he sat up in his huge stroller hold g an iPhone with both his hands and tapping away like a pro with both thumbs! No Joke. Don’t bark questions and scare little kids and you should have known I had reached the checkout and ordered. You talked to me and my wife at least 3 times in line, you counted us god knows how many times, along with other groups, to try and prepare for tables. Your telling me you couldn’t recognize the only 6′ 7″ 245 lb man with the only two kids in line(besides the ones you sat before us) and realize we had probably made it through the line? I went out for a quick brunch with my husband and The sister in law. We walked by so many times and never paid any attention to Goose feathers. What a shame! Everything was so good and fresh. We just sat in silence and stuffed our faces full. My husband and I made the mistake of sharing the bread pudding and I almost thought I was going home divorced! It was pretty serious business trying to fight him for a a bite. I would totally recommend this place if you’re unsure about what to eat and want something relatively quick and delicious.

As long as you come early and get the Eggetarian, you’ll be very happy! The line is long, but it moves quickly, and is worth the wait. The Spinach salad was also great, and the Snickerdoodle muffin was outstanding! Some of the more common items ordered by others in my party(eg bagel with omelet and bacon) got less enthusiastic reviews. All in all, I definitely recommend paying this fine establishment a visit.

On a recent visit to Savannah my husband and I were walking around Bay and River Street and decided to stop for lunch. We decided to try somewhere new and checked out the Unilocal and Trip Advisor reviews and settled on trying Goosefeathers. We were expecting a full service restaurant but this is more like a deli with servers. It has a counter to order at and pick your food up but then servers to take care of you after you are seated. They have several indoor tables and a few on the sidewalk. We opted to sit on the sidewalk since it was a pretty day. Even out there the servers were very attentive. My husband had soup and salad and I had Chicken Bacon Mushroom Melt(special seasoned breast of chicken with havarti cheese, bacon, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a butter croissant — their words… and accurate). The soup and salad were what you’d expect in any deli or corner café. The sandwich that I had, however, was very tasty and I would highly recommend it. The servers even took my husband’s tea back in to refill it for him(I saw other reviewers complaining about having to stand in line for refills) not once, but twice. The owner, Beth, was even manning the cash register which was an added down home touch for me. We like eating at locally owned restaurants and this one fit the bill.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Nestled in the historic district of Savannah with great ambiance and reasonable prices. I walked in and was greeted by the sweetest ladies. You order at the counter and they bring you the order(quickly). I got the egg, Vermont cheddar and spinach croissant-$ 6.35 It was a very generous portion. I could barely finish my sandwich. I wish it had less egg and more spinach because I was going with something healthy but that’s just my preference. My date got the Italian Panini-ham, salami, vermont cheddar, roasted red peppers, on ciabata bread– $ 7.25 It was delicious! I also got the famous bread pudding– $ 4.25 It was very good. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but it hit the spot. A generous portion of bread pudding with a marmalade glaze on top. Overall a great spot for a quick lunch.

If you are worried about the wait… it is soooooooo worth it! After being disappointed at a local lace down the street we stopped in to the Goose Feather — GREAT choice! My gf and I both ordered the egg croissant — she got ham I got bacon — both with spinach. Huge breakfast sandwich with plenty of meat, spinach and cheese. The rosemary potatoes had great flavor and the cheese grits were amazing. I’m so used to cheddar cheese grits, but the Vermont white was a great complement to the grits. You will not be disappointed in this place for sure!

The food is outstanding. I had the Belgian waffles with the frozen yogurt on top. I inhaled it… Downside: it’s hot in here. They keep the door open to accommodate that extremely long line you have to wait in. It’s worth the wait

Great breakfast sandwich — highly recommend the Eggs Benedict Savannah Style Sandwich. You’ll need a fork and knife to conquer this sandwich, but it’s well worth it! Good coffee and quick quick service.

Busy place for a Thursday late morning, long line but it went quickly and food came out pretty fast! 2 stars: I wanted to see what all the hype was about for the bread pudding… it was okay. Lots of cinnamon if you like that, had cream cheese inside or something like it. In my opinion, it wasn’t that amazing as others have mentioned on Unilocal. We didn’t finish it and actually wanted to send it back. but didn’t. 3 stars: We also got the Scarborough sandwich and it was pretty good. Fresh ingredients, although their multigrain bread was very hard. Most likely not have been made that day. maybe a few days old. 4 stars: I got the Quiche: Tomato, onion, basil, avocado. This was pretty good, however you can’t taste the basil at all, it’s not fresh basil, it’s the dried seasoning. I liked the crust it had, it was like a pie crust! Yum! I like this dish the most out of everything we got! Note: microwaved to make it hot. Would rather they warmed it up on the oven or something similar to make it less soft/microwaved tasty. Service was nice, friendly, and pretty quick, they were ready to clean up our tables and get things out of the way for us, which was really nice.

Man kann alles auch to go ordern. Was will man mehr?
