I wish I’d read the reviews before I stayed here. Upon check in I was informed the pool was out of order!!! WHAT! It was so hot that weekend use of the pool would have been great. The beds were fine and our room was clean. Later that night the toilet ran over, so we were unable to use. The woman at the desk could not send maintenance until the next morning. They should have offered us useage of another room but they did not. I think they were short staffed because every time we called the front desk they took forever to answer. The breakfast was the worst ever and the woman working the front desk was also refiling the food stations. Again with the short of help. Next time I am in Savannah I will be sure not to stay at this location.

When the other reviewers on Unilocal said«DONOTSTAYHERE» they meant it!!! DONOTWASTEYOURTIME, MONEY, ANDPERSONALSAFETYHERE!!! Reporting to BBB b/c Days Inn doesn’t care. Where to start? We had a suite on first floor near pool. Mattress on fold out bed was ripped to shreds, utter filthy, soiled beyond belief with who knows what! Just DISGUSTING! The shower dripped LOUD drops of water from leaks in ceiling(that woke me out of dead sleep) fr shower on 2nd floor. ALLOUTLETS in room will not hold a plug without falling out — lights won’t even stay on! Had to jury rig phone charger to use! The carpets are stained — I’ve NEVERSEEN anything like this!!! The key cards hardly work EVERAND when they do turn«green» you have to kick the door like a Samauri warrior to open! The old phones have«msg lights» that blinked perpetually despite 3 phone calls to front desk to turn off! Just now as I’m writing the walls are so thin I can hear the man above me using the bathroom! Niiiccccee. Pool/hot tub look ok and smell of heavy chlorine … BUT there are signs that you cannot use them! There is a sign on the business center door /window that says«sorry — computer doesn’t work». There’s a «bar/lounge» that is open till 3am and both nights we heard drunks leaving and yelling at each other. Oh yeah TV remote doesn’t work! AND you have to hold the«on button» IN entire time to use hair dryer — so can’t hold brush while drying! First nite we had to ask for sheets, pillows, towels, blankets and this was BEFORE we opened that filth of a fold out bed … Front desk said«ok — well bring them to you». NOT. 2 hours later at 12:10AM I waited in line at front desk where there was ONELONESTAFF member trying to check in a bus load of retired-age folks who’s «reservations were messed up». There were 2 other room guests waiting in line who needed sheets/towels AND they also had same room problems as me! Filth and fold out mattress especially! I blame ALLOFTHISONTHE so-called«manager on duty» who was NEVERTHERE … The two young front desk gals deserve a medal for even trying to help customers bc they kept their cool and really tried to help best they could but the management SERIOUSLYMUSTDOSOMETHINGHERE! That said — heed the warnings and AVOIDTHISANDANYOTHERLOCALDAYSINN! Spend a little extra and stay somewhere else! I realize Days Inn is a lower rate(cheap) hotel … But even at A CHEAPRATE($ 89) you should get a clean, no frills, safe room with enough staff to make the place run. The management(loose term used there) should be ASHAMED for taking people’s money! My friend and I had a discussion trying to find any REDEEMING thing about this room and the only thing we could think of was«a fleeing refugee from a third world country would find this a slight relief». That is sad. We did get a «new mattress» for that fold out bed … On the 2nd night. Also the entire area was booked from graduations and festivals in the area so there was not rooms available elsewhere. AVOIDAVOIDAVOID!

DONOTSTAYHERE! This is THE worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Let’s start with the beautiful experience of simply getting a room here. The first room they gave us was a «no smoking» room and it REEKED of cigarette smell the moment we opened the door. Not to mention how surprisingly hard it was to just open the door. We ask for another room in which the smell was not unbearable. The next room they gave us reeked even WORSE with cigarette smell AND the a/c didn’t work. So, again I have to ask for another room. They give us the third key and when I go to check out the room, it was for four people and we were six. Are you kidding me?! So in the end we had to go with room number one with the disgusting smoker smell but at least it had a/c. Disgusting issue #2: we opened up the pull-out bed from the couch and the freaking mattress was full of yellow stains! And that’s not even half of it. So were the bed covers. They smelled icky and had yellow stains on them. I’d rather freeze on the floor than sleep in that but wait, if that’s how clean the beds were, just imagine how clean the floors would be. With all that ickyness all I wanted was a shower, which should be something easy, right? I mean you can give me a clean bathroom to take a shower in but noooooo, we get the bathroom with the dead baby cockroach right by the shower place!!! Oh wait and the promising pool is just a 3 feet puddle full of green water and it’s not like you can even look forward to tanning at least because the pool in under a roof right in the middle of all the hotel rooms. To add to all of this, the light is so dim in this place and it’s so lonely that I could only expect to get killed or raped here. I was literally running like a maniac to my room every time I had to go back in. They include the breakfast but that’s only ok if you like expired milk and cardboard tasting waffles! I’m really looking for something positive to say about this place. Oh yeah! There’s a lot of parking if that’s a big deal for you but we both know exactly why there’s so much parking. Avoid this place by all means. There’s a whole bunch of hotel options in this exit. Gosh! Sleep in your car if you have to. You will have a much cleaner and comfortable experience sleeping in your own car.

Horrific. First room had bedbugs. Tried for another. No bedbugs but Black Mold, ceiling falling in over the tub, loose outlets that spark! And a heated indoor pool that is a disgusting hazy snot green!!! Can a give negative stars?

Room unexpectedly featured a jacuzzi. Comfy bed, friendly service, full pool & spa. Recommend to any sleepy traveler. Great prices too!

I don’t like to give bad reviews but I have to agree with the two other reviews… this place is the pits! On an impromptu trip to NY, we checked in here because it was late, we were tired and I did not want to drive anymore. I should have checked Unilocal before checking in! The girl at the desk was a young teenage who had no interest in being there. She spent more time on her cell phone than talking to me. They have cheap rates but it because they have spent no money fixing this place at all. We were given a king room with a tub in the room… sort of like something romantic should go on… but the shower curtain had mold on the back of it. The carpets were stained. But the bed was clean and there did not seem to be any bugs in the bed. Besides, we were too tired to care. I was worried about noise from other people but we never heard anything but realized later it was because there was nobody on either side of us. They did have breakfast in the morning but like everything else, it was not the best. The one thing that I did notice was a smell… from everything… but I believe it was from the indoor pool. That«pool» smell was in everything. There are a number of other places to stay at that same exit. I would say try those and avoid this Days Inn. It did not live up to the same quality of other Days Inn I have stayed at. I expected more but got a lot less.

Stay away! Unbelievably cheap rates but there is a good reason for it. Crappy tv, horrible room set up, noisy a/c that hardly works, everything is dirty, half the outlets don’t work, I really wish I hadn’t payed for this room. The guy at the front desk didn’t seem to know what he was doing but he was nice. I would not recommend this place at all.

Do NOT stay here this is the worst place I have ever stayed! The A/C doesn’t work. The room is dirty. The shower is basically in the middle of the room! When the a/c is on it makes a horrible noise! I would rather sleep in the parking lot than stay another night here. Please choose a surrounding hotel if you can afford it. I am afraid to ask how many drug deals or dead bodies have been found here.
