This place is outstanding! My husband and I had never stayed at a B&B before and we really enjoyed the experience! The inn is very beautifully decorated, it truly feels like you step back in time as soon as you walk in. Each room is unique, with different artwork and décor but all of them look incredible. Another cool thing was that a lot of the art on display was painted by Robert, one of the two owners. We were on the third floor, so we had to climb a bunch of stairs to get up there, but that was not a problem for us. The breakfast was incredible. Every morning, we started out or days completely stuffed because innkeepers Ed and Robert cooked up the tastiest things. Another great thing about the 1895 Inn is that it is centrally located so it was very convenient to get around Savannah. All of the beautiful squares were a 5 minute walk from us. We live in Nashville and love the charm and beauty of Savannah. We will probably make a short weekend trip here at least once every couple of years or so and 1895 will be at the top of our list of places to stay. It really couldn’t have been any better.

Ed and Robert were absolutely fantastic hosts for our anniversary weekend! The house is beautiful, comfortable and in the perfect location. They thought everything. Rooms were cozy and well appointed. We were unable to enjoy breakfast for our last day but sure enough Ed had a little to-go bag for each of us, it even had wet wipes! This is THEONLY place to stay while visiting Savannah. We will be back!

We enjoyed our trip to Savannah but this B&B was the highlight. We would go back just to stay here. I think that sums it up. The breakfasts were amazing every day. Ed was very entertaining and gave several good recommendations on places we wouldn’t have known otherwise. The house is beautiful and has great art work.

Good location and a house too beautiful on the inside to be done justice in a review. Ed creates an amazing breakfast and a mean cup of coffee. His advice on restaurants and sights to see is spot on. Our room was amazing, though we spent most of our time walking around Savannah. Robert and Ed make you feel like you’re at home– if your home were absolutely stunning. They’ve thought of everything. Pisendel said«Flawless B&B» above. I think that pretty much nails it.

This was a perfect B&B experience. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment I hugged Ed Bryant(the owner) goodbye we were doted on and constantly pampered. The home is beautiful. The art and antiques that cover every inch of the house are fabulous. Fabergé eggs anyone? Breakfast was supremely gourmet and served on different china sets every morning.(Delicious enough to ask for the recipes.) Both Ed and Robert are too cute for words and extremely helpful during your stay in Savannah. Restaurant recommendations, tips on getting around the city, questions about the house or which tour to take… all can be answered with ease. I highly recommend the 1895 Inn. I plan to return with friends!

Lush, luxurious, and lavishly appointed, the 1895 Inn is a Savannah gem. It is masterfully and elegantly decorated, yet still comfortable and welcoming. Run by owner Ed Bryant, a stay at the 1895 Inn is like a trip through your own personal art museum, complete with original Picassos and gorgeous antiques collected through years and years of travel and multi-generational family collecting. The 1895 Inn is very conveniently located, central to everything that is Savannah. Czn’t wait to go back again!
