There are very few apartment complexes in the savage area to choose from. So being frustrated by high rent of my previous apartment, I decided to move in here which was right adjacent to my my previous apartment and alot cheaper in terms of monthly rent. I will start with the pros first. Rent is low compared to the other apartment complex in the area. Nice back yard /patio in every apartment. I like the location of the apartment building which is at walking distance from savage trail and Ram head tavern and very close to gas station and weis. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Cons: The apartment complex is really old construction and although its maintained nicely, the walls are too thin and windows and patio doors are very not heat proof. U can feel the cold air steeping in the apartment during winters and hence expect very high Gas bill. Al tough the staff is friendly and helpful, they only have one maintenance guy and so you have to patient while waiting for your service request to be attended unless it an emergency. The building defiantly lacks the aesthetic appeal from outside. The only part where flowers are planted are outside the leasing office.

This complex has its positive and negatives as any other place. Although I wish this place had more reviews on it and maybe I would have given more thought to my decision to move to River Front. The apartments is in the savage area just alil off from the savage mill trail. Its located real close to Rams head tavern and there’s many churches around. What I like about this area is its very community friendly. Churches are usually having events such as yard sales, block parties, movie night. Really community friendly.(Apartments don’t have a good lot for kids to play or run, which can cause kids in road and balls into cars.) Its close to 32 which gives you access to 295 and 95. About 17 min from 198. Its a good area and close to many important access points. For the apartment themselves, very recently a change of management occurred. No problem, the problem lies when old management wasn’t doing things right and new management tries to fix it without informing the tenants. Certain things you have done for years you no longer can do. Its not our fault thongs were not done right. The least you could do is inform that some changes will be made due to blah blah blah. Say whatever but let the people living there know. When we first moved in we noticed a lot of problems the ceiling was leaking due to upstairs sink, the closet door broke soon as I opened it, toilet chain was broken so we had to stick our hand in every time we flushed to close plug, the windows were poor quality and freely let insects in. Turning on air or heat, your Windows basically say No! I’m not trapping heat and I’m gona let cold air in. Bad during winter! Ceiling was fixed in great time, toilet chain took a long time and I think my man fixed it. Door still off its hinge. Time passes summer begins we turn off our air when we’re not home. Well ladies and gents the heat started to cause bubbles in the plaster of the kitchen all over. So we have big and small air bubbles of plaster on our walls. The bathtub must have been covered in a cheap paint because first time I cleaned it with bathtub spray it peeled of the coat of whatever it was. And as I continue to clean little by little paint comes off. Oil builds up at the top of ceiling in the bathroom(I don’t even know of its oil). Walls are super thin(some times I can here my neighbors phone vibrate if it’s on a table) gives you a clue what else I can hear, and vice versa. The old management was understanding to us as tenants and helped people, like my check comes after the grace period but we always pay more than half before it ends, but now all of sudden I’m being told we can’t pay partial, it all has to be one. My only issue is we are paying more than half and I usually pay the rest two days after Grace period, I get hit with the late fee and and makes it even more for me to pay. No understanding from the new management, as well as they do not keep you informed as a tenant in CHANGESTHATAFFECTYOUAS A TENANT. Rent is not bad except after the first year they raise the price would not care so much if it was worth it. Maintenance does a good job of keeping the area clean and looking nice. I feel this apartment with new management loss it’s compassion for the tenants and I wish more concern would be taken into account. As of now me and my man do not want to renew our lease. Its not a horrible place to live but the problems, the lack of consideration And the fact my rent will go up, is not worth the renew, I changed my star rating to a three because the convenient area, and community which really has nothing to do with the apartments themselves is great. The apartment themselves are a good starter their not super large and for the most part the building its self is not a bad place to live washer and dryer on site and not to far to walk because theirs one in every building. But what makes this place on low three side is simply the lack of concern for the tenants.
