Excellent shop on the main drag in Sausalito. They sell lots of nautical items and also lots of rare pictures that either you can frame or are already framed. They also have gorgeous wood products made out of various types of wood such as redwood. Everything from bowls to jewelry boxes. Loved the nautical art pieces as well, my favorite being a stingray with a mermaid perched atop. We stayed here looking for a very long time and the only reason I’m giving this store two less stars of perfect is because the shopkeeper was«an old salt». He was curmudgeonly! I wanted to purchase something and had a question and his response was downright rude. Due to this, we decided against the purchase. Though I know the item was one of a kind, I also don’t give my hard earned cash to someone who doesn’t appear to want it. I’ll miss having this map on my wall, but I’ll get over it because I would think of the way he responded to me every time I looked at it.

Steer clear of the grumpy dude with the grey mustache from this place. He thinks he runs the entire block, and he’s happy to verbally accost you at the slightest faux pas, inside the shop or down the street. The shop itself looks to be standard-fare expensive tourist trinkets. If that’s what you’re into.

This is a beautiful gallery for classy nautical décor. They have many lovely prints in addition to a nice collection of scrimshaw. Owner Mike is very friendly and knowledgable about the art he carries and the artists represented in his store. Very impressed over all.

Really liked the Bathymetrics maps and other nautical themed works. Don’t miss checking out this little gem hidden up an alley of sausalito.
