Me: Smoked Salmon Benedict with House Potatoes and Green Acres Juice
Husband: Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with House Potatoes and Dole Express Juice
We both agreed that the house potatoes were under season. The potatoes left us wishing we would have asked for hash browns.
Both juices were over powered with ginger so much my husband took one drink of it and called it quits.

After a hike, all I wanted was meat. Luckily, this place had a ton of burgers to choose from. For some reason, I decided to go for the heathier option and opted for the Tantalizing Turkey Burger. Was it tantalizing? Eh. To be honest, it tasted just like another diner/​small café burger. I could barely taste the mushrooms which I was so excited for and the turkey patty didn’t have much flavor. I always think that a burger is good if it doesn’t need any condiments to make any of the flavor. I ate it anyways (of course) because I was hungry.
Overall, it a nice little café to grab a bite to eat, but I wouldn’t expect any amazing food.

Really good food. Cheaper than most places in the area, and free parking. What else Is there to say!

I’ve lived here 4 years and never managed to come in here… And wow! I’m stoked on this place!
Kick ass green juices and smoothies, gluten free options, been around 22 years so it’s not some hipster place with wood paneling and Edison bulbs that will be gone in a year.
I love places like this !

Huge Avo and Spinach omelete, real fresh country potatoes and every waiter in the place waits on all tables. You never wait for anything.

Great breakfast spot for some diner like food. Great price, good food, great service. Stopped by for breakfast before I headed back home to Illinois.

I visited Friday morning around 9:30a. It wasn’t too full so they sat us down immediately. I ordered the bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and cheese omelette. It was delicious. I liked that the avocado was perfectly ripe. Food was good and the service was excellent. They never let our coffee cups or water glasses even reach halfway empty, they were constantly coming around to refill them. I had some coffee left that I felt bad throwing out so I asked for a cup and they gave me a small to-​go cup and let me refill it to the top. Glad I ran into this place!

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the chicken fried steak with some pancakes. Lovely breakfast! Chicken fried steak was delightfully crispy, even after the yummy gravy was smothered all over it. Came with over medium eggs (cooked to perfection)… home fries you can tell were cooked fresh, none of that oil saturated pre-​cooked nonsense… and a blueberry pancake. Now I don’t know what batter they use for their pancake, but it was chewy and fluffy, just phenomenal. There is a parking lot available, but it fills up pretty quickly, and you are only allotted an hour. The place packs up pretty quickly so if you avoid the busier breakfast and lunch times, you may be okay. Enjoy!

The food here is delicious, and it comes pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly and they remember their regulars. The bathrooms are hella fancy and the staff is accomodating, even if you order at the last minute. Definitely enjoy coming here every time I’m in Sausalito.

Way above average diner food… Side salads were really fresh with homemade dressing. Loved my wife’s macho nachos … Sturdy crunchy chips with fresh ingredients, but ground beef was a bit under seasoned. Nice details to food and service for affordable price for this area. Avoid ice cream, they don’t sell enough to keep it fresh. Wish I could’ve tried the pie.
Our waiter was a sweet attentive guy and put up with our huge group. What’s not to like about this great little unpretentious diner?

Awesome smoked salmon omelette great home fries and overall looks like awesome place for breakfast foods and overall good local food.
Not your typical snotty place you find along these parts.

Okay Google… find me some gluten free pancakes. Enter Bayside Café in Sausalito. Of course there was a crowd out the door but the line moved very quickly. Dining solo (yup, sometimes I’m my own best company), I was asked if I wanted a seat at the bar or if I wanted to wait for a table. I decided to wait and told Alise that it was mu BIRTHDAY so NO COUNTER for me! She agreed and in about 3 minutes I was seated comfortably in a corner by a window overlooking the bike shop and folks in biker shorts (bonus).
The cappuccino came first and yup… I’ll be awake for three days. The pancakes (Alise delivered with a lit candle and the BEST SMILE EVER) and bacon were crispy, had to send back the eggs but no problems with that, the servers here are awesome. They checked on me enough to make sure I had what I needed but not so much as to disturb my groove.
Thank you for creating a lovely birthday breakfast for me. I was alone, but not lonely.

Cute brunch place in Sausalito! We decided to dine here last minute due to another place being super crowded. Not a bad choice! This is like your typical brunch place. You’ll see a variety of people here enjoying each other’s company or even couples just eating and reading the newspaper.
Service was quick. The second we sat down, the waiter asked for our choice of beverage. We both took it easy and grabbed water. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was delicious! It came out with the side of pica de gallo, sour cream, and avocado. All of which were the perfect amount. The quesadilla itself was a generous portion. The tortilla was so perfect! Not too crunchy, yet not too soft. The filling was great as well. Just the right amount of cheese. Each bite contained chicken so that was good too. And I believe it was also filled with spinach, which I love! My friend got the smoked salmon omelette. It looked pretty tasty as well. The omelette size isn’t comparable to Denny’s or Ihops, BUT the filling was enough to fill you up.
Id come back again whenever I’m in the area!

I had the Carnivore Scram and subbed out the hash browns and toast for some tomatoes on the side. I threw some (OK a lot) of tobasco on top to add some kick. Super duper tasty.
It was Sunday morning, and the place felt pretty bumpin’. That said they were able to accomdate our request for a table of 13 without too much of a wait. I was expecting a «no dice» response, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Great breakfast.

Amazing omelettes! My husband and I both ordered the Smoked Philly omelette: smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers. Unlike anything I’ve ever had but so good! We sat on the back porch and it was really cosy.

You know the feeling of satisfaction you get when you’re craving a particular meal and you get exactly what you want cooked to perfection? That’s the feeling I got when I ordered the Mess N Hashbrowns at Bayside Café. I even put in a special request to have my eggs served over easy on top of the hashbrowns rather than scrambled in with them and everything came out perfectly.
The food and the service here are without question 5 stars. We were seated immediately and our server was on time with everything. My water and my coffee was refilled whenever it reached half full. All around great service.
The price point is awesome. My wife and I both received larger portions than we could eat and everything was under $ 30 including tip.
I definitely recommend this place. I look forward to coming back.

Standard diner fare. Good food. Good service. They serve breakfast all day, and you don’t feel rushed to get out — at least we didn’t feel that way at 1:30pm.
This place is very easy to get to: just off the fwy. 1 star off for décor being a little dated, but who cares?

It was a beautiful day, and my friends and I were famished after spending a few hours hiking in and around Muir Woods. We used the power of Unilocal and was so glad to have picked here!
This place is so nice and quaint! I loved the atmosphere! It felt really home-​y.
Along with their breakfast and lunch, they also have a smoothie and ice cream bar! Yummmm!
When it comes to sit-​down restaurants. I am a girl with the most itty bitty sized stomach on this planet. I don’t often go to sit-​down restaurants because I am not able to eat even half of my food order. I don’t like taking leftovers because I don’t like being repetitive with my meals (I am really weird, I know). I was craving a sandwich but didn’t want an entire order. They have massive portions! I loved that you could order a half sandwich with a side of a soup or salad as an option, so I got that with a salad and a cup of earl grey tea (delicious!). (*I actually should have ordered an additional item because I still ended up being hungry. My sandwich was a bit too small for me since hiking up trails is definitely a calorie burner. But, on a normal day, I would have been satisfied with just a half sandwich and salad.)
I got a setup for my hot tea, and they offer soymilk as an option! A big yes for the non-​cow milk drinkers!
I really liked eating here. It was really nice, and I can’t wait to come by again!

Coffee is sub par. I like my coffee on the stronger side. When your coffee is refilled its boiling lava hot. Watch out! Came in about 9 am on a Saturday by 9:45 it was almost packed out. I ordered the French toast sundae. Yes I am a six year old. It was good. The juices which we forgot to order were a pretty good price. We will probably stop by and get some juice next time.
