They make it fresh on the spot! Not that long of a wait, unless it’s crazy busy on weekends it can take just a bit longer. See the Asian lady there, she’s quick and fast!(At taking orders and making them) She means business. :) I tried the burgers and chicken tenders and it’s definitely better then the other chain fast food burger places. If you get the chicken tenders try it with the Chipotle mayo sauce ! They also have other sauces, of course like honey mustard, bbq etc.

A slightly above average, better than most fast food burger joint. Last I ordered, I had the chicken tenders and mac and cheese bites. Both good portions and overall decent. It tasted more fresh than most places, ill give them that. I would actually come back for these. I’ve also had their cheese fries, which is a lot better than Wendy’s or Sonic. The burgers are okay, depending on what toppings you add. Not much to rave about though. Be warned, it’s pretty greasy! It does take a while for your order to be made. I assume the reason behind this is as advertised., non frozen patties and made to order. I wouldn’t say I’d go out of my way to drive here, but if I was in the mall I would definitely take something to go. Side note: order online, saves you time from waiting for your meal

We got the fish platter; which includes 2 fried fish and some fries. It was mediocre, but then boo for us since we got fish at a burger place. Very average, probably can’t mess up kind of plate. Best part was the very hot fries + tartar sauce. Will give it another go and try their burgers next time.

Overrated + overpriced. We ordered a cheese burger and a crispy chicken sandwich meal — I have never had more bland fries. The burger patty and bread was skimpy as shit, and the crispy chicken sandwich? I may as well have made it at home. I guess we must try things at least once but I won’t be back for more.

The only place I’ll eat when I’m working at the mall. The owner is super nice and brought us food during holiday season. They also have a decent mall employee discount

Due to the proliferation of burger joints recently and its proximity to one of my all time favorites, I was skeptical of the Wayback Burger that opened up at the Square One Mall. I was drawn to the picture of their giant Triple Triple(9 burger patties, 9 slices of cheese) so my family and I decided to give it a try. I had their Cheeeesy Burger combo, my wife and daughter both had their basic cheeseburgers, and we shared an order of Beer Battered Onion Rings. These burgers and fries put other similar cooked to order burger joints to shame… my burger had a buttery grilled bun that mixed nicely with the cheese and beef, it was one of the tastiest I’ve ever had. The fries were fantastic, as were the rings. My wife and daughter both loved their burgers. After we were done we decided to give the shakes a try… we were NOT disappointed! My wife and I shared a pumpkin pie and our daughter had a chocolate banana. We needed to be rolled out of the food court afterwards. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu, since everything is cooked to order, the wait for the food was a bit long but worth it!
