I got an amazing haircut yesterday from Monique! Beautiful cut, great products, wonderful atmosphere, free street parking, etc. I’m hooked and will be going to Monique for any of my future salon needs!

Celia is the best… and makes you look your best :) well worth the ride from Cambridge! Rivals some of the high end salons in the city without the stress.

I’ve been coming to see Monique at Rumors for the past three or so years, but she has been doing my hair for 5 years and she’s amazing!
Monique is an incredible foiler — highlights, low lights, a combination, back-​to-​back highlights — she can achieve any look you are going for and doesn’t disappoint. She also does a great cut, and can work any length hair.
Time-​wise, you can be in and out quickly if need be, or you can milk it and chat it up for a few hours. Whatever fits your schedule!
Monique’s blowout is the best — I have watched her do some on other clients and they are red-​carpet-​ready — my hair never comes out quite as good as that but I suppose I’ll blame that on genetics and not my stylist!
The salon as a whole is nice — an exposed brick wall gives it character, and it has a divided room with a little more private area for other services and the shampoo chairs. The stations are a mix of modern and classic. The salon is clean, with plenty to read, enough spaces to sit (though you rarely wait), and a nice big, chic bathroom.
