I saw that another reviewer said 5 guys is tied with fuddruckers for best burger… not…even…close. Five Guys is the perfect burger joint for a quick stop, their burgers are greasy and delicious, opposed to fuddruckers giant dry hockey pucks. The service is fast and the kitchen is wide open which as an educated customer makes me feel much more comfortable especially when it comes to fast food. Good prices, great food, service is nothing special but generally good

The other day I ordered online to this Five Guys and went in to pick it up. When I came home I realized they had given me the wrong persons food. When I came back to get my order(15 minute drive but necessary for my favorite burger combo) the whole staff was very apologetic. The manager re-cooked my food, refunded me, and gave me a free milkshake. They certainly made up for the easy mistake and I am very satisfied. Good on you, Five Guys

This is definitely one of my favorite Burger Places to go! You get so much burger for your buck. Usually when you get fries, it’s falling out of the cup. The toppings are free too.

Plenty of seating. Good juicy burgers delicious Cajun fries. Plenty of options for toppings in ur burger and condiments. They also sell good hotdogs and regular fries. Potatoes come from all over which is kind of a cool twist. So ur fries are always coming from somewhere different. There are boxes of peanuts that u can eat for free in the middle of the restaurant. This one is open 7 days a week, 11 am-10 pm, which I find to be convenient hours They also have the drink fountains by coca cola whee u can make whatever flavor soda/juice u want, which also means free refills :)

Just discovered Five Guys makes a Patty Melt, and OMG it was so delicious. Basically, it is a grilled cheese sandwich with two patties and grilled onions in between. I got mine with extra cheese and it was incredible. The burgers were juicy and cooked perfectly. The cashier was also very friendly!

Five guys has pretty good burgers, but the fries are where they really shine. The fries are cut with the skins on and they give you a large portion. They do not deserve 5 stars because the prices are steep!

Love their burgers. And ya dont have a tv or really nice décor but they do that to save money. The service is good through they asked if my meal was good and they personal brought my meal over to my table.

I don’t understand how anyone is giving 5 Guys less than 5 stars. Yes it is very unhealthy but you know what you’re getting yourself into when you walk in the door. The fries are amazing, the burgers are amazing, they have one of those fancy soda machines with all the flavors, what more can you ask for? If you want to have a fat day, go to 5 Guys and it will be amazing.

This is the best place if you just want a quick not totally fast food meal especially if you have the app to pre-order, so no wait except for the fries to cook. I’ve had 1 bad mistake with my order, but I called and the manager gave me not only a new burger, but the whole meal for my inconvenience the next time I came in later in the week! All that aside they are very friendly. The place is always very clean. Food made fresh and is definitely the best burger and fries you can get out.

The burgers are really good and the prices are reasonable. They actually rely on the flavor of their meat instead of gimmicks or ambience. They seem to focus on doing a few things well. Which I respect. They are definitely caught somewhere between burger joint & fast food. To their credit, they don’t cook the burgers ahead of times like most fast food places do. They cook everything to order. I like the fact that they cut the fries right before putting them in the fryer. I hate places that have that frozen crust on the outside of their fries. These do not. The only real drawback for me is that everything is super greasy and absolutely horrible for you. They call it «juicy», I call it «dripping grease». Granted if your looking for something healthy, you don’t eat a burger. But 1800 calories and 100+ grams of fat for a single patty cheeseburger & fries is absolutely insane to me. I feel like there should be a defibrillator on site with those numbers. I keep my visits to this place to a minimum because I’d rather live, but sometimes I can’t help myself and crave it. Better alternative than fast food, but falls short to the rapidly growing high quality burger joints.

Five Guys aint the classiest place around, but it sure does the trick. This location is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Plentiful peanuts and generous toppings on the burgers. If you need a burger and don’t want to go to a sit down restaurant, this is your place.

In my eyes Five Guys falls victim to the hype. I had pretty high expectations for Five Guys and I just feel like the experience was nothing special. Was is better than McDonald’s? Yes. Was it better than a lot of the neighborhood bars I go to that have burgers and fries? No. Maybe these comparisons shouldn’t be made, but I feel the need to compare this place to something. I thought the service was fine and the place was kept clean. Maybe it was an off night or maybe other locations are better? But I just wasn’t feeling the love for the fries or the cheeseburger.

I’ve been a fan of Five Guys for a few years now, but this is my first time eating at the location in Saugus Mass… Like all of my past experiences, it is another superb location. For those that expect fast food along the lines of McDonalds, well this is not up to those low standards. When you place your order at Five Guys your burger is actually then, and only then thrown on the grill. All burgers are customer customized with a slew of available ingredients as well. I usually get the«Little Burger» as the regular is a double patty, and with fries it is just too much food. Since I just mentioned fries, these are the greatest. Think of fresh cut fries at a good pub and that is what you get here at Five Guys. Like a British pub they also have malt vinegar if you desire as a condiment for these tasty fried taters. Bottom line, if you want quality and don’t mind paying a few dollars more than the standard chain burger joint, then you really must try Five Guys. You won’t be disappointed.

Drove up to Saugus from Cambridge to check out this hyped-about fast food joint. Got the little bacon cheeseburger(1 patty as opposed to 2) with everything delicious(except pickles, which I don’t find so delicious). Everything = all the regular toppings, condiments, grilled onions and mushrooms. Let’s get real. You’d have to put a piece of dung in there to make this burger taste bad! While the patty doesn’t taste like dung, it is very underwhelming. The meat isn’t very good(McDonald’s quality at best) and it’s dry. That being said, the wetness of the grilled onions and mushrooms really saves it from being a bad sandwich, although the bun does get very, very soggy. And a small burger and a small soda comes to $ 8. What??? For a bunch of glorified condiments? Wah! My friend ordered cajun fries which were really over-spiced, salty, and soggy. They did come in a HUGE portion though but next time I might opt for regular fries or no fries at all. If Five Guys was in my local mall food court and I was craving a burger, I might entertain the possibility of trying it again. But I would never go out of my way to have it.

I want to say that the burgers were the best ever, but they were just okay. The regular burger is 2 patties. If I ever go again I’ll get the small burger which is 1 patty. The fries however were awesome and they offer malt vinegar to top them. Good stuff. It’s loud as hell in here. I couldn’t hear the server when I placed my order, of course if she had spoken above a whisper I might have heard her… Turn down the music or get something up on the walls to quiet the noise from the loud customers. The price was a little high too. For 2 burger, 2 fries and 2 small soft drinks It came out to $ 24. WTH? It’s a burger! The burger was good, soft drink cold and fries excellent. The fries aren’t enough of a draw to bring me back to a place. Too bad because I like a good burger.

Seriously people it’s FIVEGUYS not chef gourmet. I’m a fan of this place, they keep it simple. Hamburgers that quote from my son«taste like hamburg dad» and about 20 toppings. This place would be perfect if they served booze. The french fries are delicious, if you like peanut oil, yes that’s what they are cooked in. 2 of us eating burgers, fries and drinks $ 15. Good enough for me. The place is loud, the music is loud and bright white walls are rather loud as well… I have also eaten at the one in swampscott and they were the same…

Not your fancy pretty burgers with the perfectly round sesame toasted buns, but rather the mouth watering sloppy lopsided, meat and veggies falling out, and cheese oozing and sticking to the tin foil burgers. Would like the patties to be more flavorful but I supposed asking for«everything» topping will suffice. Fries were crispy but they’re just not all that good. See my pictures.
