Do you ever wish while you are on vacation you would find the perfect breakfast place? Well I finally found that place. This was the best place to have a great breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were the best. I have not had them that good since I was a kid. I also had «chips favorite breakfast sandwich» and a pancake. Our waitress and the owner was so friendly and gave 5 star service. Can wait for our next vacation to come back here and have breakfast there again. 5 stars all the way.

Best kept secret in Melbourne! My husband and I stumbled upon this place for Sunday brunch today. It’s a small, hole in the wall but it’s not to be missed!!! All we could utter the entire time was «ummm oh my goodness!» Mary, our server, was just adorable and recommended the Mexican omelet for my husband and the spinach and feta quiche for me… heavenly!!! They both came with rosemary herbed potatoes made from fresh herbs grown themselves. The owner came from the kitchen to introduce himself. Nicest guy ever. He really takes pride in his place and it shows!!! If you want something special, he will get the ingredients and make it for you! Amazing! His wife and son were also there and so kind. They gave us a sample of the most delicious smoothie I have ever tasted. Great people, great service and the best fresh food around. This restaurant belongs on one of those food shows! This will be a regular place for us from now on.

Just had breakfast at the Banana River Café. It was fantastic! Great Eggs Benedict, pancakes and biscuits. On S. Patrick Dr just north of Lansing Island. The Benedict was made with their yummy biscuit, so it was unique. The potatoes are wonderfully herbed and spiced. Great coffee. Great service by Cody. The owner has a great attitude of service and accommodation.

You come right in, you seat yourself, you order and then get delicious food. There isn’t an overwhelmingly a lot to say about this place except for that I’ve never had a bad meal here. The servers are friendly and move quickly and the serving sizes are righteous. If you’re beachside and looking to brunch or lunch, you should not skip this place. Don’t let its tiny size fool you, everything you get here comes with big taste. I love the Mexican omlete; so damn tasty.

Stopped by for lunch based on Unilocal rating and was not disappointed. Ordered the rosemary chicken salad on a wrap with the pasta salad. Chicken salad was flavorful and the pasta salad was great, made with carrots and broccoli which I think is unusual but among my favorite veggies. I only saw one waiter taking care of all the tables and counter so service could get slow if that’s the norm, but everyone seemed happy.

Had a great breakfast at Banana River! I recommend the Kahuna, my wife had their french toast special and loved it!

I will get right to the point the best strawberry mango French toast with citrus glaze I’ve ever ever tasted my compliments! Done to perfection can’t wait to go back!

Cozy bright café with excellent homemade food. Interesting menu combining interesting flavored together in a pleasing way. My husband ordered carnitas Bennie special which exploded with flavor. My prosciutto omelette was also delicious. My only criticism is of the coffee – very ordinary. I ordered regular so my comment only applies there (not the cappuccino or other coffee drinks).

We eat here at least twice a month, for weekend breakfast or lunch. The food is scratch-​made and outstanding. The service is friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!

Gourmet breakfast on the beach! Great selection. San Antonio Bennies were an excellent fusion of eggs benedict and huevos rancheros over yummy homemade fluffy biscuits. Our Server was friendly. Almost gave 5 stars but I think the lady who might be owner was very stressed and may not have had friendliness on the top of her agenda.

I went for the first time last month and have been back several times since. The staff is really nice and food is excellent.

I was in town visiting my family for the holidays and stopped in to the café. The food was innovative and delicious, and the service was superb. Everyone was extremely friendly and treated us like family. I enjoyed the Rosemary chicken salad wrap. It was bursting with flavor! My wife got the brown sugar and almond French toast. I «stole» some from her and was amazed at how delicious it was. The restaurant had such charm and personality and the food to match. My only qualm about this restaurant is that it is not in my hometown. If it were Id certainly be a regular!

Very surprised! Had an awesome chicken salad sandwich and delicious chicken cordon bleu soup. Everything was very fresh, wife loved her Greek salad. I’m pretty picky and definitely recommend this place. Service was very friendly and prompt.

Service sucked, waitress is rude, gave me a plate with no eggs told me to wait, waited 5 minutes and then I had to get up and personally complain. Bad service or just racist!

This place is nothing short of outstanding! Everything that comes out of the kitchen is addicting in a great way. Love the southwest flavoring with chorizo & guacamole. The spinach & feta quiche will change your life ;)

This is a great place for breakfast. I eat there about once per week and almost always have an omelet because they are some of the best I have eaten. I particularly like the Mexican Omelet but they are all excellent. Sometimes (about twice per month) they have a Salmon Omelet on their special board and it goes to the top of my list when I see that listed. Very quiet, relaxing place which excellent food.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious! I ordered French toast with strawberries, 2 eggs and bacon. My husband had the mexican omlette. Both meals were great and the coffee was fabulous. Looking forward to going back!
