I could rage on about the excellent service and friendly barber but words can’t describe how awesome this hair cut is. You need to bring cash but aside from that it was hands down the best hair cut I have ever gotten! It was my first time coming here now I want to come here everything!

I have paid way more for way less of a haircut. Tom does an excellent job for such a low price, I’ve literally sat in the chair for an hour so he could get the details just right. Every time I walk out of here, it’s with the exact hair style I wanted, no compromise. They’re also super friendly over there, always asking me about my family. This will probably be my default place for a long time.

I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone except Mai. I’ve followed her for 12 years and hope she stays in business for as long as I have hair.
The shop is clean and Mai and Thomas are so personable, friendly and give awesome cuts.
I’m so glad they opened their shop.
Highly recommend you coming in and checking it out.
Very reasonable prices too.

I’m a 27 year old guy. I went in for a haircut before an interview and am very happy with how it turned out. Clean edges, very even, well-​thinned to hide my lightbulb-​shaped head. The owners are very nice. They offered me something to drink and were very friendly while I was in the chair.

I thought I would try a new barber and found this one in a great location in downtown Saratoga. I came in the late afternoon on a weekday and there was no one in there so I didn’t have to wait. Tom was my barber and he was excellent. He cut my hair exactly how I liked and made sure I was pleased. It’s $ 20 for a men’s cut which was very reasonable in addition to tip. The owners were wonderful in customer service and offered me drinks and snacks even after I had paid. The place feels clean and new and I could tell an attention to detail was in place here. I will be back!

Mai’s Barber Shop is extremely nice physically, we’ll lighted nicely decorated and has free drinks and treats. The service is very good and personal. They take care of every detail including eye brows and ear hair. I have been going there since they opened and have never had a problem or complaint. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic place to get a haircut.
This is a true barber shop. For example, they don’t overly wet your hair before cutting it. They cut it as is. Also, they have a electric razor that also has a vacuum so tiny hairs don’t get stuck on your back.
I saw Thomas and my wife said it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had.
Both I and my son will be regular customers here. I highly recommend this place for a men’s haircut. Much better than Supercuts or Fantastic Sam’s and basically the same price.

Glad I stopped by this new barber shop in downtown Saratoga. Mai and Thomas were very friendly and and cut hair thoughtfully. The décor is welcoming and seats very comfortable. Good price: $ 20 for simple men’s cut. Saw many repeat customers coming, mostly men. My only negative comment is that the shop interior lighting in the evening is a bit too bluish-​white for historic Saratoga, whose shops and restaurants generally have a more warm orange glow.
