So I hate needles. Hate them. Fear them. It took a bad medical scare and not being helped by Western medicine at all for me to finally consider acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I don’t do «alternative» medicine or vitamins or anything so this was a long stretch for me which is why I carefully read all of the reviews and did my research. As I sat in the waiting room for the first appointment I kept wondering «what am I doing here?» Dr. Xiong is the real deal. The bottom line is that I feel MUCH better and she really has helped alleviate my symptoms tremendously. I would never ever let anyone stick me with needles or give me herbs that I don’t know but the bottom line is: IT WORKS. It really works.

I had a long lasting issue with my back near shoulder blade: it’s always sour and tired, and it could be painful when it’s severe. massage helps a bit it but can never get to the spot as it’s deep inside behind the shoulder blade.
When I heard Dr Xiong could treat this kind of issues with acupuncture I was skeptical. But after I finally went to see her, I was amazed. Her treatment was so effective and I felt relief immediately. And the effect last a long time: for a couple years that spot near my shoulder blade didn’t feel the pain again.
