Sparkling Clean Car Wash

Last time I was here I put in $ 2.00 in quarters for the vacuum & guess what happened? The hose isn’t connected to anything! It was in a combo. with the air freshener, so I thought I’ll just switch it over to the scents for the car. Logical, I thought. Nope, wouldn’t let u do anything! Had to sit there & let all my minutes run out! But, I know it’s not the owners fault someone had cut his hose. But it had been duct taped before. Once he found out people were doing this he or she should start checking it everyday! Might even stop the vandals, if they think the owners could pull up at any time! Just a thought, or install cameras & prosecute so no one else dared cut your hoses again! They have to learn a lesson sooner or later! Don’t know if it’s fixed this time. But I’ll let u know, after I go through the car wash…
No receipt! That’s one! If I get to three, I’ll start going to a new car wash that keeps an eye on their stuff & checks their paper & hoses daily! We’ll soon see if I get a number 2? Yep, number 2! We have a failure to launch! Dried soap all over the hood! Just like Selmy B.!! May look worse, since my car is a dark blue? It looks like crap! I’m going to try to clean it off in one of the do-​it-​yourself bays! See what happens! I’ll be updating when and if I get the soap off! Hope it comes off easily! Well had to totally re-​wash my car in the do-​it yourself bays! Should have done that to begin with! It took quite a while to get all that soap off the hood. Had to use the scrubbing brush also! Wasn’t a very good experience. If I have to do this every time, why bother? I’ll just do it myself, in a do-​it yourself bay. The old fashioned way! Still works the best, by far! Think u wasted your money on those Lazer cleaners, because they don’t work!

New local owners, Todd and Karen, make sure your issues get fixed so you keep coming back. Wonderful results to a tough start. Was getting a $ 9 car wash and the laser machine stops. Car full of soap. Call get answering machine at 4:45. Totally bummed. Hose car down at home. Streaks still show. Sad.
Call and leave message. Karen calls right back ready to fix the problem immediately. Agreed to meet Todd at noon at Sparkle site for a redo on another machine.
Todd greets me with bucket and broom to do a prewash on my car, runs my car through the wash with their ultimate package and gives me a free air freshner for my troubles. AWESOME DO-​OVER!!!

We are fans of Sparkle, because it’s no frills and pretty cheap when compared to the car wash places on Tamiami Trail. We use the auto-​wash, which does a lot for between $ 5 – 10. It didn’t get off the dried-​on pollen on the hood of the car, but that’s OK considering that the machine is no-​touch (i.e., there are no brushes or rollers).
