Evie’s Tavern On the Range

My parents live in Sarasota and always talk about Evie’s, but had never taken me there until last weekend. We ordered two pizzas for pick up. One of the pizzas had an incorrect topping on it. They were able to make up a new pizza in about 15 minutes and put a credit on our account for a free pizza with our next order.
The pizza was delicious when we brought it home, and even better for leftovers the next day!
While we waited for the pizza to be made we walked around out back. It looked like such a fun environment to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night. They had a great band playing, drinks flowing, and bon fire pits.
Can’t wait to come back and stay to enjoy the ambiance!

I was driving my daughter to a school function tonight when one of their drivers ran a stop sign made a left into on coming traffic almost hitting 2 cars I got his tag called Evies and pretty much got the big blow off I will not eat there anymore and hope folks let this place know that this is unacceptable the poor lady they almost hit was so upset and it scared her

Not understanding how the wings can go from .50 to .69 because it still isn’t a profit. The profit is from the alcohol and beer you sell to wash it down. Also… Very confused why honey ginger and garlic parm cost more??? Franks red hot is more expensive. Used to love them but now confused;(

Why are you charging$ 6.99 for 6 wings and $ 11.99 for 10, for what you call JUMBO wings, when they are not even close to JUMBO. Your wings are dry as hell, over cooked and small as shit. Con artist. ALL your food is over priced.

A great place to get eat and enjoy. This has become one of our goto places here in Sarasota. The food is good, the service is good and the atmosphere is pretty awesome. For the price you’re really not going to get much better. Add to that the driving range and mini-​golf and it makes for a perfect afternoon.
As for the food, the gyro and chicken wraps are pretty awesome. Also get the chips and queso, they’re some of the best we’ve had around here.

The local spot to feel like you are apart of the Evies and Sarasota family. New York style pizza and great deal days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Bring the kids, get a car wash, watch your favorite sports team, and get a scoop of ice cream! Locally owned and locally operated. This guy Lowell even has his own chair! Ask to check it out or meet him! Such a good time!

Cool little place to hot some golf balls, play mini golf or get a quick ice cream cone. Pizza was laughable. They must have been out of pepperoni because I got an old slice of cheese with some pepperoni on it and some barely melted mozzarella tossed on top of that. As a mini golf place it’s a four, as a dining spot it’s a 1. It’s a five star dive/​sports bar… So three stars. Enjoy

If you’re looking to watch a Kentucky game while visiting the Sarasota area, this is the place! Lots of tvs.

Stopped in for a bite with my brother. Decent Philly and good onion rings. Brother drank beer. It’s a sports bar kind of place. Sandwich was ok, not the best I’ve had. I would go back, no complaints.

Tiki bar they added really makes this place. You can sit and watch people play golf. Lots of tv’s and they have NFL Ticket which always draws a good crowd. The food is always good. Homemade chips and buffalo chicken pizza are my favorites but everything that I have ordered has been good. The mini golf is a little run down and needs updating and the parking lot is too small we always end up having to park on the grass. Make sure you try some ice cream before you leave. They also have a separate arcade room and seating for kids.

I remember why now why we have not been here in a while. Dined with 2 kids, had to ask 4 times for the kids menu, then go to the waitress station and look at it to order, because the waitress never brought it. Ordered 20 wings got 19… ok the cooks can’t count I quests, forgivable, if the wings were good, but they were dry and over cooked. Service is non-​stellar. Food fair. If you need to see cute chicks as your server and drink beer only, then the place is a 3. Next trip will most likely only be beers. Oh and no need to ask for the check, kids are playing she gives us the check… guess no more beers for us.

My family went to Evie’s ⁴⁄₁₆ at about 6:00 for pizza. It was a nice night so we opted to sit outside. Within a few minutes of being seated the speakers started blaring to the point we couldn, t carry on a conversation. We asked the waitress to turn it down. She came back several times and said she didn’t know how and couldn’t find the manager. Another couple sat nearby and also complained. The problem continued even after the manager was located. At no time did the manager speak to us directly to apologize, eplain he also was unable to fix the problem or offer to assist us in moving our meal inside. We had our meal boxed and when I tried to talk with the manager when we left he appeared to be defensive and expressed no concern for our unpleasant experience. The pizza was only fair; the flies on the porch were annoying, but the lack of professionalism and hospitality of the manager were inexcusable. We will not be returning as there are many far better choices in Sarasota.

Family owned tavern with other locations downtown and on University Parkway.

The subs are decent, but they are way over priced for how big they are. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because their delivery is so fast!
