This place is great. I love supporting small business when ever I get the chance. We just brought a house in Santee about a year ago. Our house just happens to be located right up the street from his business. We have three fruit trees from Peter and they all are doing wonderful an plum tree., Avocado tree and an apricot tree. Peter will inform you how much sun, water, the best location for the tree. During the summer we buy firewood for bond fires outside. We get our pumpkins here in the fall and our Christmas tree in the winter. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of trees he sells for the price. Forget going to home depot for your fruit trees and try this place first I promise you wont be disappointed.

They are so helpful and so kind. Tons of different kinds of wood to choose from and they’ll help you decide which one is best. I’m still prepping my garden space but when I’m ready, I’ll be getting plants from the nursery side of the business as well. It’s always cheaper to shop around or buy in bulk but for a little extra, the customer service is well worth it.

Peter is amazing. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things smoking meat. He offers peach wood, cherry wood, almond wood, olive wood, orange wood, apply wood, maple wood, etc. There is nowhere else to get such an amazing array of ready-​to-​smoke woods for your smoker. We made a brisket over almond wood and it was amazing. Then we did several pork shoulders over peach, same awesome results. Expect to pay about forty bucks for a sack of wood that will get you through about 16 hours of smoking.

I have bought wood from Peter now for three plus years, half chord at a time. The quality of the wood is amazing and the service you get it always top notch. Peter is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and is always so appreciative of our business. His delivery team is always on time and are willing to stack the wood in my rack on the side of the house.
I have no reason to buy wood from anyone else and I would encourage you to give him a shot of your looking for a good wood dealer!

There used to be more competition for Peter back ten years ago. His prices were a little higher so I usually used others. Several years ago I decided Peter’s quality and service was worth the price. I’m sure of it now. He carries excellent wood, well dried, at a fair price. Good delivery service. No problems. Everything lights and burns well. We get it «stove cut» and only a rare piece out of a ½ cord has to be trimmed to fit.
He also has the freshest Christmas trees we’ve ever bought. Last year’s had fresh needles at Epiphany after a month off the lot. It was a shame to take it down. This year’s is on the same track.

This place rocks… Peter is a great guy… very helpful and knowledgeable.

Excellent value for my money. I am a busy guy, and I needed firewood… but I didn’t have the time to visit his location, or to stay at home waiting for delivery. We did the whole deal over the phone. When he took my order, he took the time to discuss with me what type of wood I needed. Peter’s guys delivered and neatly stacked a full cord of wood at my house while I was at work. I will definitely do business with Peter again!

Pete is my go to guy for firewood. My husband and I stopped in a few years ago, because his business happened to be near where we work part time. We have never wanted to go anywhere else since.
Pete is always there, with a smile to greet you, and eager to assist. He is very knowledgeable about the different types of firewood and their characteristics. Which wood lights easier than others, which burns longer, which smells nice, or which will give that great crackling sound. I never knew so much about firewood until I met Pete. You can load it yourself, or he will have one of his workers cart, carry and/​or load the wood for you.
There are bags of wood kindling for your fire, and he also has a large selection of different types of woods for smoking foods, with information on the flavors they create and they types of food they are ideal for. During the fall he has pumpkins, and during the Christmas season he has a large variety of trees, wreaths, and assorted Christmas tree accessories.
Pete has kept our business through excellent customer service, reasonable prices and good quality firewood. We will keep going to Pete for all of our woody needs.

Called them at 1:00; wood was delivered by 3:00. Friendly on the phone, friendly delivery guy, and great quality wood. They would have stacked it for me if I’d known where I wanted it. Price was slightly higher than other places, but I’ll pay a little extra for service like this. I will never buy wood anywhere else.

OUTSTANDING!!! They are open year round & VERY LATE…10PM!!!
We decided to pick up firewood late one Sunday afternoon, looking to buy about ¼ a cord.
They had about 12 different types of high quality (and seasoned for at least one year or more) firewood & something like 20 cooking woods/​charcoals.
You can even mix and match if you prefer more of a variety in your fireplace season like me!
The owner took the time to educate us on the different woods and their benefits/​uses.
On site you will find tons of plants and Seasonal Novelties to keep the family entertained while your wood gets stacked (very orderly and neatly) in the pack of your truck.
These guys deliver all types of wood and even have coking wood.
They offer delivery and stacking for a very small fee (basically the gas & the price of a coffee!!)
