When I have to pay 4.00 for a bagle and cream cheese & small coffee then have to toast the bagle myself, I don’t need to wonder why it’s empty in the restaurant @ 700am .Glad I didn’t order the egg sandwich… I’ll never return…

Kaffee Meister is definitely a must go! I been here many times and every time I go it never disappoints me. Usually very relaxing, a nice place to grab your laptop and head out here to study. Mainly filled with college students. I order a White Chocolate Mocha every time I come here and every time it tastes wonderful. Certain days out of the week there is live music performance which gets loud in here and makes it hard to study but the performers are usually really good. I recommend giving this place a shot if you are into great coffee and great customer service as well.

This is my all time FAVORITE coffee shop. Here is why… 1. Top of the line coffee, the owner roasts his own beans and has amazing blends of coffee flavor. 2. Amazing service! The baristas are skilled and wonderfully friendly. 3. The is a strong family oriented culture with the people who hangout there. I always see huge smiles from people as their«coffee shop friends» walk through the door.

Kaffee Meister is my favorite local coffee shop! They are amazing. I came here on the first day they opened and fell in love with the atmosphere, décor, music, staff and coffee. They are friendly, kind and unique people who care about their patrons. My daughters have grown up visiting coffee houses with me and they love this one best because the baristas remember them by name and know how they like there hot chocolates. I had to drastically reduce my caffeine intake recently and was so happy to discover they can make my lattes decaf! Perfect place to relax with friends, family and even business meetings!

Hmm, I wanted to like this place because its always filled with people and it looks soo cool. It reminds me of the coffee shop from the TV show Friends. They have live music on selected days, free wifi, lots of available seating. The service was good. I had an espresso & a breakfast sandwich with sausage. I’m an avid coffee drinker and so I would prefer my coffee be strong and i just didn’t get that. [insert sad face] The breakfast sandwich was too greasy for me and I felt the pesto was overpowering. However, my husband loved the breakfast sandwich but agreed with me on the coffee. He had a cold brew and felt it was not strong enough either. Till next time…

Great lattes, really tasty. Not burnt but flavorful espresso. My favorite 5-star is Illy coffee, this place is maybe 4.5 stars and always full of internet surfers. Not sure why they like to hang out here all day but very popular.

Love the coffee here! Cold brew is super strong!!! my only complaint is 20oz is the largest cup size. Can we get a 24oz or even better 32?!!

I really enjoy the coffee here and think it’s one the best coffee shops in Santee but the service absolutely kills it for me. As a restaurant server and assistant manager, I hate giving bad reviews but this problem could be easily fixed. Hopefully the management will consider doing something about this because all the the bad reviews pertain the slow service. I walked in today and ordered one drink from the cashier while I saw the barista talking across the counter to other seated employees either on there break or just hanging out. I stood there for a few minutes while I watched the barista finish his conversation before he started my drink. Really? What’s more frustrating is that this has happened multiple times before!!! I have sat there watching employees continue conversations while holding unfinished drinks in their hand. The simplest solution would be to tell your employees to stay focused on the job rather than leisure time. I keep coming back for the good coffee but it’s probably quicker waiting in the long Starbucks line.

Impressed as always! Great vibe, great live music frequently. And my name is often remembered when I come in, even though it’s only once every couple of weeks.

Ordered a 20oz mocha, made to perfection. Little bit of wait, but worth it. Young crowd, but nice for laptop and coffee relaxing.

Love this little spot that was recommended by a co-worker. The latte’s are thick and delicious. The ambiance is cozy and allows for conversation, unlike Starbucks with the blaring loud music. My only gripe was they were lacking in snacks/food. I was starving and after a few study hours, had to leave to get something filling to eat since they were sold out of everything. With a christian hipster-type of crowd, not a bad place to be right?

I stumbled upon this coffeehouse when I was checking out a local small yoga studio nearby. I often like to meet up over a nice latte with friends or meeting with clients. Immediately, I noticed the atmosphere was very welcoming. They’ve got a great staff that are all super friendly and likable! Very glad to find a coffeehouse somewhere local in Santee that isn’t a super chain like Starbucks. Definitely check this place out! They are always packed, so drinks sometimes take a while to be made.

Customer service is on point here. I have gone here since they opened in 2012. Everything I have tried has been great, from sandwiches to soup, acai bowls, coffee or tea, pastries, it’s all fantastic! My favorite drink of all is their vanilla chai with soy milk, no cinnamon. I’ve been to many coffee places that have vanilla chai and none compare to Kaffee Meister! I’m moving soon and very sad I will no longer be local to this beloved establishment, but I am looking forward to visiting. Heck, I may even take a drive and come for a vanilla chai! The location has a wonderful amount of chairs and tables including a few outside, even a few couches indoors. It is a very well lit, open and comfortable environment. Typically very quiet, which is perfect for getting work done, reading a book, having a quiet conversation with a friend, or a place to study. The hours are great and they play really chill music most often. Across the street there is a great view of Santee trails. It is in a small shopping center with lots of easy to get to parking, in safe city, with quaint surroundings. It’s a perfect place for the single, married, elderly, or even families. They do have another location that’s got a very different set up and vibe, over in lakeside– which features an antique shop and the same quality product. Both locations are great! Oh and did I mention the ridiculously clean bathroom? Very clean bathroom, which is also maintained and a huge plus to know you’re in a safe and clean environment! Again, the customer service is amazing. Friendly smiles, a staff that is very welcoming and aims to remember your name if a regular, and even your order if you frequent enough. I believe they also feature local bands and solo artists weekly, or at least often!

Was looking for a gourmet cup of coffee while visiting Santee and Unilocal didn’t let me down. This coffee shop was hard to find because their sign says COFFEEHOUSE and in small letters to the left, Kaffee Meister. During our first visit we got two cups of coffee to go. The wait was about 20 minutes, but the coffee was great! Way better than Starbucks! During the second trip we got the same coffee, the Mocha and the Viennese, and two acai bowls to go! The coffee was consistent, except that the barista this time around didn’t make any nice design in the cup, he just poured the milk right in. Boring. Anyway, the acai bowls were delicious, definitely not as delicious as Hawaii or anything close, not even on our top ten list. However, the granola was yummy. The turn off regarding the bowl was that the acai was slightly watered down, not as strong as it’s supposed to be. Oh well. We definitely know where to get our coffee in Santee! $ 20

Five stars for their Iced White Mocha. It was perfection! Three stars for how long it takes to get one drink. The barista was really sweet, but it took about 7 minutes to make with only one drink in front of me. Also, the drinks are VERY pricey. Still recommend you check it out!

Kaffee Meister is an almost perfect combination of: — Early opening hours(5:30 a.m. Mon-Sat) — Pleasant staff who are apparently hired for their skill and lack of snottiness — Expertly-crafted espresso drinks, served with those little cookies! — Comfortable, spacious seating arrangement — Pleasant music that assists, rather than hinders, the work effort — Electrical outlets and strong, reliable Wi-Fi — Gift cards and cool schwag — Plentiful parking(especially at 5:30 a.m.!) — A location in Santee that’s easy-to-reach from points East and West Kaffee Meister(like Santee Town Center’s Coffee Corner) seems to be an occasional meeting place for Bible study and other religious purposes. I am intrigued by businesses that are supportive of such activities, as they seem determined that office workers, hipsters and bleary-eyed college students not have all the fun. I mention the fact believing that, while Kaffee Meister would never intentionally make a non-religious patron feel unwelcome, some people might find walking into such an environment awkward. Caveat emptor. ****************************** Coffee Corner:

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in SD county. Cozy couches and tons of tables, this shop was made for you to bring your books or laptop and curl up with a cup of coffee to get some work done. They are now serving more substantial food I think, but in the past it has mostly been acai bowls and a few pastries and bagels. I know their muffins come from the store because the liners say ‘sprouts’ on them… but it doesn’t really bother me. Another huge perk is the fact that they have a bunch of different milk and substitutes. Soy, almond, and macadamia… how do you choose?? Keep an eye out, because they do have open mic nights and shows featuring local artists, as well as some fun merch. Seriously, go here.4

We stopped by for breakfast after seeing the reviews on Unilocal.Being right next door to Janet’s, we were curious how their fare would stand-up against the solid offerings next door. The egg and cheese sandwich is $ 3.95 and pesto is added at no extra charge. Served on a croissant, sourdough, or whole wheat bread, the sandwiches taste great and are very fresh, but are too small to qualify as a meal. The sandwiches are about the size of a closed fist. That being said, the pesto is great and the croissant is flaky and delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and the décor is warm and inviting. Nice place to hangout with friends and family. Overall, this is a nice place to meet-up for coffee and a snack, but the serving size is too small to qualify as a meal. If it weren’t for the small portions in relation to the size of the meal, it would be 5-stars.

I got a bomb acai bowl here that was very nicely prepared for me by a friendly staff member. This place is a nice relaxing spot with free wi-fi.
