I’ve gotten my hair done by Debbie now (highlights and a cut) 2 or 3 times and will never be going to anyone else. She’s always made me very comfortable because I have had bad experiences elsewhere with cuts, and it always turns out beautiful! I will be getting my root touch up very soon :)

Ok Debbie is a nice lady and does an awesome job. She needs to put up a menu of her prices so you know what you are paying for and communicate what she is charging you for it conditioner, tips, fees, etc.

I went here in anticipation of a great highlight and cut after reading decent reviews. She didn’t understand the color I wanted at all. I didn’t really want allover highlights. I was pretty specific about it. She did all over highlights which turned out fine but it wasn’t what I asked for.
The ends were pretty dead, she cut some if the ends before highlighting. Maybe this was to make it easy on her; I’m not sure. I’ve never seen this done. When it came down to cutting the hair after the color was completed, I realized she cut my hair wayyyyyyyy too short next to my bangs and I had to basically chop all of my hair off (which I didn’t want do either) in order to hide her error and careless. I told her I didn’t like it the entire time. It’s not the color nor cut I wanted. In addition to this, the over cut still doesn’t hide her botched «layer» job to me… my husband even noticed.
She then charged me way more then what we discussed. Which is revolting to me. At the very least she should have comped my hair cut which was fucking butchered. I’m pissed beyond belief. I have to wait 3 months at least until my hair grows out now. PS what you charge for highlights and cut I used to pay in Little Italy where your kids aren’t running around the salon and they didn’t take phone calls when cutting my hair. Hire staff and listen to your clients.
I will never go back here. I just moved to Santee and like supporting small business but will never again do this at the expense of my hair. This was my fault for not gong to a real salon.

This is by far the best salon and spa I’ve been to! Debbie and her son are very friendly and take their time pampering and getting to know their customers. She does an amazing job, and so does her son! Ladies, he’s also very attractive! Come on in!

I was in need of a new hair person and I was nervous, but I saw the reviews here and thought I would try Debbie’s. She was wonderful! I showed her the picture of the cut I wanted and the color I wanted and Debbie did great. She was sweet and fun and while my hair color baked, she did three other peoples nails, and her son works there too! She even showed me an oil to put in my hair to get it soft, not so dry anymore. It feels silky now. Thanks Debbie

Debbies salon is awesome she takes walk ins and appointments she is always very busy but is always nice and likes to help you I think she needs more people so if you are an experienced stylist or manicurist please give her a call I love going to her salon to get a haircut once a month and she always make time for me

Debbie is nice, but unfortunately my hair didn’t come out as I had hoped. My highlights came out brassy and patchy. I paid $ 150, so I am very sad. I didn’t know my hair had come out bad until I got home, because she didn’t want to blow dry it.

Debbie’s salon is a hidden gem in Santee. I’ve had a haircut, facial and eyelash extensions with Debbie.
Facial — The extraction portion of the facial is different in that she puts on a peel rather than squeeze the skin to release congestion. At any rate my skin was surprisingly clear after the session. I have acne proned skin so it was great to see a decrease in breakouts after her treatment.
Haircut — Debbie trimmed my hair and added textured layers. I love my hair cut. I am planning to go back for a perm.
Eyelash extensions — this is a bargain! I have gone to fancy salons and paid fancy prices for the exact same service as Debbie provides. Her eyelash extensions cost 30% less than the fancy salons. She also offers a discounted rates for maintenance.
Customer service is great, Debbie is sweet and a professional.

My husband says this is the best place to get a military haircut! It’s the same price as on base and they are really nice.

I go to Debbie’s for a quick and easy eyebrow wax. I have minimal growth, so I get by going a couple times a year. I inevitably wait until a few hours before closing on a Saturday, and Debbie squeezes me in. Not because she’s fond of me or even knows me, just because that’s the kind of place this is!
One occasion I had her son who made a comment about my «ugh» oily skin. It was the end of the day and you know what, I have oily skin. I brushed it off and he did a great job.
The waxes are $ 7 and totally worth it. I’ve never had lopsided brows. Except when I do this–

Debbie is FANTASTIC! I called her last minute to try her out after Forever Hair and Nails completely butchered my brows and she took me immediately. She was so sweet and listened to me describe what I wanted, then did exactly that. She completely erased what the previous place did, then rubbed fresh aloe vera on me when she was done! I highly recommend going here — I wish I would have paid attention to the good reviews and gone here sooner!

I came in today to get my hair done with my moms longtime friend Debbie. My mom and Debbie have known each other ever since my mom was 16 years old and here I am coming in with Debbie at 16 years old. I LOVE how my hair turned out & don’t ever regret coming. She is so sweet and beautiful! I recommend coming here 100% ladies & you won’t regret it. Debbie has have years of experience and will NEVER disappoint.

Came in as a walk in today, and was extremely welcomed. It’s a nice, clean salon, and the owner and her son are very kind. She really took the time to educate us and provide quality care. Great massage, and a glass of champagne to go with!
I wasn’t a HUGE fan of the polish selection, but I still managed to find one I like. I will definitely be coming back!

Debbie is so wonderful! Quick! And great with hair! I called the day of and she was able to squeeze me in for cut and color. She promised a quick appointment and she delivered. My hair came out perfect. It was colored, cut and styled in 2 hours — as promised! !! Thanks Debbi! See you in 3 months!

I have been getting pedicures from Tan Aand occasionally Lena for 6 years now. Longest lasting pedicures, friendly service, great prices. Most of the time I can go at least 2 months because they do such a great job. I highly recommend them!

Once again Debbie delivered excellent service. I had been overseas traveling and my eyebrows were way over grown. I look like a real person now! Thank you Debbie! Also, Saturday the 14^th at 10am is customer appreciation day stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

Debbie seemed like a nice enough person but:
I came in for an eyebrow tint and facial wax. I made the assumption that I would get a natural looking eyebrow and left looking like Groucho Marx! I am completely broken out like chicken pox because my request for «hard wax» was mistaken for «hot wax».
It’s a good thing I have a few days prior to my event– my hope is that the break out will fade and maybe the eyebrows will too. I will have to spend additional money on a facial to calm down my irritated face.
When Debbie saw my unhappy look after processing she stated that 2 shades darker is standard for eyebrows. My mistake making the assumption that she should ask me what color I wanted? My assumption that she is a professional may be off base.
I was placed in a shampoo chair for my wax/​tint which was very uncomfortable.
While I was being attended she too several salon phone calls, one of them personal while an idle hairdresser sat around playing loud video games on his cell phone.
She made several processing errors. She got wax in my mouth. She got wax in my hair. She placed wax on my eyebrow even though I asked to have my eyebrows threaded.
The threading was okay I guess, however she tweezed a lot afterwards including one tweeze that drew blood. Sheesh!
I could have done these services better myself. I spent $ 45 and left a $ 5 tip. Hopefully my wasted $ 50 will save someone else their money.
She’s friendly and pleasant but if you are looking for professional waxing and threading I would recommend you avoid this salon.

I had a 6:00 appt in Santee and needed to get threaded so I picked this place randomly. Boy am I glad I did! I will be back. Debbie is AWESOME at eyebrows! She left no stragglers and is SO super sweet!!!
While I was there I ran into my old manicurist, Rose. She is GREAT also! So glad I found her again!

Debbie did an amazing job on my eyelashes. She took my lashes from short to long in about an hour and a half. She made my lashes look full, but natural. She was pleasant and welcoming. I felt like I had been going to her salon for years. She also threaded my brows and lip. I did not need to give her any instructions and my brows were perfect. Her son, Tan, did an amazing pedicure for me, too! I really got the full service treatment. The prices were competitive, and I felt really comfortable. I will definitely return!
