Bojangles

Stopped on this particular location because of convenience. It is a «typical» Bojangles, dirty, slow service, blah & greasy food, Dirty bathrooms, etc. I should have known better. KFC is much better in my opinion.

not POPEYE’s just a chicken joint nothing special about them! sort of weird how they are set up and the sides are nothing special. I might eat here once maybe twice a year because they are never crowded!

Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Did not wait for food. Love the buttery biscuits.

Crappy service. Did not get a reciept. I was told I would get my «togo» brought to me and I had to ask for it. Needless to say it was not ready yet. When I asked for ketchup I get three. I had to ask for dipping sauce for my meal. I saw some employees were in the back talking on their cell phones as well and it had nothing to do with work. Crappy service. I will not come back.

Very bad experience at this location. We had just arrived in Santee after traveling many hours by car from Maryland. After entering the restaurant, we waited at the counter for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged our presence. Just in case we missed the sign indicating the inside was closed, since the restaurant is connected to a gas station, we asked, «Is the inside closed?». After many eye rolls and bored expressions, someone from the back finally yelled, Mary will be with y’all soon. Soon turned into 8 more minutes. Once Mary arrived, she was pleasant, but said it would 7 minutes on chicken. That was frustrating, because if someone had served us when we walked in, the chicken could have been started and ready by that point. Since we were in Santee and everything else was burgers, we waited. 20 minutes later we finally had a box of hot chicken with sides. Upon checking into our Wyndham property, we found overcooked dry chicken breasts and under-​cooked thighs. Very, very disappointed.

Great fried chicken. If you are traveling by Santee, SC and your stomach is telling something. Its telling you «hey, stop at Bojangles and get me some food.» Bojangles has the best biscuits. THis location is on the inside of a gas station and does have a drive thru. It is just in front of the Hampton Inn.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast/​lunch and opted for a pair of Egg and cheese biscuit’s. They were well made, with a not too overpowering buttery taste on the biscuit. The store was clean and the servers were attentive. Folks talk about Hardee’s or McDonald’s for Breakfast biscuits, but for me, it’s Bo Time at breakfast time.
