Right at Home

Carol and Robert are just the kind of people to work with the elderly. What better pairing than a nurse and a therapist for running a business such as this. They are caring, sensitive, and lead from their hearts. Sonoma County (and now Napa County) are so lucky to have them as members of the community.

RAH has provided excellent care for my mother-​in-​law who is 93, frail, and quite stubborn and challenging to care for. The caregivers are competent, responsive, and caring. Carol and Robert make an excellent team and provide fantastic, positive support for their clients, employees, and for family members like us. When problems have arisen, they solve them efficiently. We have had caregivers cancel at the last minute and they always found someone to cover, including the nurse or themselves.
We have had to modify the type of care my mother-​in-​law receives more than once, involving multiple changes in staffing — from part time care, to round the clock care, to 12 hours a day, and then to 8 hours a day. Twice the changes have been abrupt. In every instance they found good care and rapidly. We’ve seen quite a variety of staff members because of this. We have no complaints and much praise for their hard work in a challenging environment.

What a great team! Everyone there truly works together to give the best care to their clients. Carol and Robert and their staff are very passionate about their jobs. You can see Carol light up when she knows you are happy and feel taken care of. I trust them 100% and know they do their very best to care for every client.

I needed help with my mother-​in-​law who had a stroke and dementia. Right At home was recommended and they are fantastic. The nurses were wonderful and so knowledgable and compassionate. The caregivers were fabulous and mom loved them. I would recommend Right At Home to anyone who needs assistance with a loved one. The caregivers were proactive in anticipating mom’s needs. Two weeks after hiring Right at Home, I got a call one hour AFTER an evening shift was suppose to start. I was told, after so many excuses that I had to interrupt and find out if something had happened to my father, that the caregiver couldn’t make it and they couldn’t find a replacement. Huh. In addition, they initially had no staff for weekend shifts, so I hired a separate agency who had no trouble supplying weekend caregivers. They now have all of our business and Right at Home has been let go.
