Started seeing Dr Kahl in 2009. She ordered a bone density scan as I was menopausal, for baseline purposes. Thought that was a great idea. I called the office after an appropriate time and was told by the MA that results were normal. Had routine annuals in 2010 and 2011, nothing new. In 2014 at my annual, Dr Kahl thought I needed another bone density study. Off I went. My electronic records indicated that results were in and I shd check with my physician for results. I called the office multiple times to find out what the results were. Finally, the MA indicated that results were somewhat lower than previous. I asked that results be faxed to me. I was shocked to see that I had osteoporosis. I called the office back to find out when I might hear from the physician re my results and a treatment plan. The MA asked when the best time was to contact me. I replied that I was flexable but typically there in the early morning. I was told that the MA couldn’t make any promises. I thought that was she couldn’t make any promises about me being called early in the morning. I am still waiting on a call from this physician. I don’t see how this can be standard of practice. I guess the bottom line would be if you have to stay with this physician you get copies of the lab results for your own records.

Being a husband and relating to the doctor that delivered our child is one the of the greatest feelings there is. From all of our appointments leading up to the birth and the follow up appointments Dr. Kahl made all of it pleasant even for a husband.

I have been a patient of Dr Kahl’s for over 10 years. Dr Kahl has delivered all 4 of my children via Caesarean Section and has performed several other procedures that I have needed to have as well. I have had 3 normal pregnancies and my last one was considered high risk. I trust her with my health care 100%. She spends the time with you that is needed to give you full explanations and helps to make sure you are comfortable with what is going on. My experiences with the entire office have always been amazing. Jo and Jessica at the front are always very kind. Lisa is her Medical Assistant who always helps you feel very comfortable and has had to help answer many phone calls from me throughout the years and never makes me feel as though I am a bother. I look forward to going into the office each time I have an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Kahl.

I saw Dr. Kahl yesterday, 5⁄2 for the second time and again had to wait 45 min to see her after the board said she was only running 15 – 20 min late. When I mentioned it to the girl at the desk, she ignored me and then put her sunglasses on and left to lunch. This was around 12pm. No one apologized or cared that I had to wait so long and was told by her at the end of my appt that I shouldn’t come early because she will never be on time. Who says that? She heard I like to come early to my appts. I came 11:20…my appt was at 11:30. The first time I came 30 min early by accident, but still waited an hr to see her from my scheduled time. She said they had her doing other things that day in the office that put her behind. And yesterday, it was her late patient’s fault. Again, didn’t seem to care. I also did not like her bed side manner. I am 40, got pregnant first shot with IUI, and she really couldn’t believe it worked for me. She actually called the the fertility clinic preparing them for my visit since I am 40 and my IUI probably would of not worked. Why tell me that? Be happy for me at least! She was really discouraging and I plan to switch doctors and offices. She mentioned miscarriage and my 40 year old eggs 5 times. I need a dr to be a little more compassionate and eager to help her patients feel at ease during this exciting yet scary time. I understand there are risks over 35 years of age, but you don’t have to make it sound like I should of had a harder time getting pregnant.
