If I could, I would give zero stars. I went in for a 1 hour full body massage, and the masseuse I had was awful. Had I not given her my credit card to pay when I walked in, I would have thought someone off the street with absolutely zero experience in massage therapy, or even the slightest understanding what a massage is supposed to feel like, was the person digging their elbow into my back and spine. My back was tight, which is why I even went in for a massage. Had I known I would feel as though I was being beat up, even after noting several times that it hurt and needed to be softer, never would I have even given it a shot. After approximately 8 minutes, I had to tell her it wasn’t working, she made my back feel worse, and I wanted a refund. Unfortunately, since she knew little English, she didn’t understand and then became frustrated with me. After another woman came in to help translate and apologized and said ok, I was able to have money returned and leave. It may look like a good deal for the price, but I would never recommend anyone to go to this place!

I went with the 1 hour foot massage and fell asleep half way through. The masseuse was stronger than she looked and delivered a firm massage. Afterwards I felt great, relaxed, and rejuvenated. The price is the best around.

I have never had a worse massage. I am not sure you could even call it a massage, it was more of a rub. I have a hard time believing that these people are licensed. They should be reported. What a waste of time and money.

As a professional wine tour guide I get all kinds of request. My clients expect credible recommendations and notch services, sometimes on short notice. That was the case recently when a guest requested a message for the 3 couples. It was after dinner on a saturday, I called over 10 spas with no luck. Next to the Haku Sushi were they were dinning was happy health spa. With the word happy in the name didn’t it seem like the type of spa that they were looking for, but i desided to check it out anyway. Upon entering Iwas impressed with waiting area it was not up to the standards of the shishi $ 200 hour spas in Napa but, it was clean and the receptionist was wholesome and in professional attire. Although her english was poor she was friendly and accommodating. 6 walk ins on a saturday night is a tall order. But, she got on the phone and 3 therapist arrived within 10 minutes. I didn’t experince the treatment, but my clients were all beaming and relaxed when I collected them. They thought that it was a great way to end the day and a good value. Once I experince the treatment I will update this review.

Came in with a strained back and stress. About the only legit looking place in po-dunk Santa Rosa. I walk in and ask the desk woman if she has someone strong that does deep tissue. Very simple question. She says«yes, oh yes.» fine, I pay their high going rate and get escorted to a room. This is where it gets freaky. The rooms have clear glass panels instead of door! I don’t know if the owners are perverts or just odd, but basically you gotta get naked and on the table with the chance of people walking by and looking. Further, your entire massage someone could be watching anytime they want. To me as a man it’s weird and a little stressing, but why the he’ll would a woman ever come here for a massage? In their defense, they do have a loose curtain that somewhat covers much of the door FROMTHEOUTSIDE. But there are plenty of gaping gaps. Thankfully I was there at the end of the day and there weren’t too many other customers, but it’s still quite perverted. Back to the massage. Lady comes in, starts working on me way too weak. I tell her several times over the next 10 – 15 minutes to massage«stronger.» same damn weak massage, no matter what. I just gave up and tried relaxing into it, trying to forget about the waste of money this is. Nice enough lady, but skilled at massage she is definitely not. Finally the entire weak hour was up and I was able to leave. Gave her a small tip as it wasn’t her fault that the boss lied, but still she’s gotta pick up her game. Walked out into the still Santa Rosa evening with the same damn backache and $ 60.00 poorer. 1 star for the great reception on the Chinese TV up front.

The massage was good. However, the front desk lady was determined to get a bigger tip out of me when I was leaving(a $ 20 tip was not sufficient)…she became quite rude and unpleasant when I handed the $ 20 tip to my masseuse…“You are cheap!” «You enjoy looooonnngggg massage, but you don’t want to tip!» «We have to pay rent for all this!» I got the impression that all who work here are not paid wages; the owner pockets all the revenue with promises to the workers that they can make a living off tips. Exploited Chinese immigrant labor. Anyone? Anyone? So yeah, I’m never going back to this place ever again…

WORSTEVER!!! I thought maybe I should give this place a chance since the web site didn’t look so bad & they offered couples massage. I’m a long distance runner & deep tissue. I paid before walking in the room… big mistake. They had old sheets & Vaseline Cocoa butter lotion. I told the lady to mainly work on my legs. She gave me a regular crappy back rub & the sheet was off my butt the whole time. She came close to my private area a few times. Not professional. It seemed like this was a shady place & they didn’t know what to do with a woman. When it was over, she blocked the door, gave me a paper cup of water and said«TIP! not going to tip!?». I was shocked. Gave her a tip and now this bad review.

Here’s how it went after I walked in the door: Me: «Hi — two foot massages, please…» «No!» Me: «Um, no foot massage?» «One person only!» Me: «What if we come back in a little while?» «No!» Me: «What if we come back in an hour?» «Ok, one hour.» Me: «But for two people, right?» «You come back one hour twenty minutes.» Me: «Ok, be back then.» One hour ten minutes later, different woman at the front desk: Me: «Hi, we were supposed to come back for two foot massages.» «Oh no. No. No foot massage.» Me: «But the other woman said we should come back now.» «No.» Me: «Can you ask her?» …Goes into the back, has a conversation, comes back out… «No. She didn’t know we had other people coming.» Me: «I see why you have two stars on Unilocal.»

«How’s the pressure? Is it too much? Does it hurt?» the woman asked «It hurt a bit» my friend replied but actually thinking«OUCH!!» “Good. Your feet SHOULD react to the pressure.” ((unspoken reaction from all 3 of us in the massage chairs)) !!! What the hell !!! It hurt. It really did hurt to the point I had to scoot my foot back a little more than just a few times. Are they good? yes. Do you feel more relaxed after the massage? Yes. But I’m not sure if it’s from bearing so much pain that I’m completely exhausted. Or how light my feet feels since all the nerves in the bottom of my foot were annihilated. Their natural foot soak was pretty hot which was nice. but as I’ve experienced water temperature can be a hit or miss in all foot massage clinics sometimes depending on how crowded the place is. All staff there are experience therapists, but let me forewarn you again. They’re powerful like kung fu masters with super powered sonic boom fingers. This place make all other place like the diet version of foot massage.

I am going to make this short and sweet. 1. They ASKED for a tip, and after giving them a $ 20 bill out of pure awkwardness, I received a dirty look and a walk away with no thank you. 2. The missuses walked out of the room during my massage when she heard the front door open, to greet some potential money(customer), TWICE! 3. Talked for the whole hour to the other worker in some language I do not understand. 4. Had me pay before the massage even started, a tell tale sign of a rip off. 5. Worst massage Ive ever received, professional and amateur. 6. RUDE, felt uncomfortable and not respected. I could go on believe it or not, but I hope you get the point. I wish you could rate with ZEROSTARS. Also, BEWARE of 5 star reviews here on Unilocal, they seem very fraudulent.

Strange and unsettling experience to say at the least… Definitely not relaxing at all and was not able to relax during the massage.(which was not really a massage anyways, more of a back rub.) Anyways, so my boyfriend and I walk in and this lady comes up to us and makes arm movements and starts talking in Chinese. I honestly could not understand what she was trying to say because I speak English. She meant to say«Separate rooms or together?», after we answered«Together, please», she blurts out the word, «HUNDRED.» Extremely rude way of asking us to pay… But okay, we proceeded to give her one hundred dollars(Before we even got the massage). Once we were in our room, they gave us about 45 seconds to 1 minute to undress. I wasn’t even covered up and they barged in on me topless, without knocking. Once they started the back rub(massage, I guess), they started their hour long conversation with each other in Chinese. Literally talking and laughing to one another the whole time, with some tired sighs here and there; and we couldn’t even understand the language. My poor boyfriend didn’t even get his moneys worth, hour massage in, because his lady had left the room at least 3 times, without saying anything to him… just leaving him there. This in its self made me not able to relax or respect them as missuses. Finally, when they were through, we got dressed and walked to the main lobby room,.when all of the sudden three of the women blocked the door way, saying, «TIP.» They said it like three times. They were demanding a tip. My boyfriend handed them a 20(which is EXTREMELY generous considering they were talking the whole time, walking in and out of the massage without knocking) and they looked at him with complete dissatisfaction, as if it wasn’t a big enough tip. They didn’t even say Thank you, or Have a good day. Over all, a really bad experience. The vibe in that place was really dark and weird too. as if freaky things go on in the back rooms that I don’t want to know about. These women are all about the money, and do not care about customer service.

Looking for a way to spend a calm evening while traveling, I made a reservation at Happy Health. I was anything BUT happy. I must say I never got a massage so I have no idea if they are good or not, but my experience was anything but HAPPY! When I arrived for my 9pm appointment the ladies that work there were eating in the massage chairs at the front of the«spa». Then she actually told me to pay FIRST! I thought, «What do I look like? Someone who won’t pay after my massage?» But instead of leaving I decide to go ahead and pay. I give her my card, which I had used yesterday while in San Francisco, and she said it didn’t work. I told her she was putting it in the machine wrong. So she tried it again but she wasn’t doing it right. She asked me if I had cash. I only had enough for the massage but not enough for the tip(I guess I was still feeling optimistic). I told her I was going to check my car – I go out to my car and get cash, turned around and she had closed the door and I see her and the other lady holding their bowls of food and walking back to their comfy chairs. This place is dumb!

This place is really worth it. What I got was $ 35 for one hour with foot and neck and shoulder massage and it feels extremely comfortable and the massage therapist who helped us is extremely nice and she did and excellent job on massaging my wife and I. I definitely will recommend people who came here to try it out and relax yourself especially who are under a lot of stress and pressure. 5 out of 5 stars for sure.(^_^)(^^) —

You get what you pay for. I wanted to try this place because they are the cheapest I could find for massage, but it ended up being a waste of money. First off, I was charged $ 2 for using my credit card to pay and wasn’t told until I saw the receipt to sign… it doesn’t put you in a relaxed mood when you are upset about being deceived about payment(plus, I don’t think it is allowed by the credit card companies). The massage itself was okay, not bad, but not great. Most of it was essentially just a rub down, and not a massage. I could hear everything outside of the room and at one point the therapist was talking to the other woman working, while giving me a massage. I was never asked if I was comfortable, how the temperature was, if I had any requests or even if I found it acceptable to fully uncover my back-side. The therapist would leave parts of my body uncovered when she wasn’t working on that area, which I thought wasn’t professional. When I asked her to work on a particular area, she just applied a lot of pressure for a few minutes, then went back to the rub down. Ultimately, it was nice to get a massage, but I wish I had spent $ 20 more and gotten a much better one elsewhere. Like I said… you get what you pay for. I’m not planning on going back anytime soon.
