This place was fantastic. Friendly employees, even for a noob like me wh had never been the before. Here are the basics: You pull onto the scale, hop out and get your ticket from the friendly employee after you sign you name. Only rule is no kitchen waste kind of trash. Everything else is cool, obviously no chemicals or hazardous stuff. You pull over to the next guy, he checks your ticket and he assigns you a bay and you unload your crap. They have tools around if you need them You go back to the scale house, hop out and pay your bill. I think I saw a credit card reader but I am not sure if they take credit. $ 35 minimum, which I paid even with my Ford Expedition stuffed full of junk after cleaning out my garage. They take checks. I paid the friendly employee and was on my way. Why the hell did I ever drive out to the landfill with asshole employees, crappy hours, and higher prices. Never again meecham landfill, you and I are done. This place is my new trash heaven!

If you are wondering what to do with any of your disposal items this is the place. I had a large pickup load of rock, soil, gravel, concrete, and brick from a backyard remodel project, and they were able to take it all for a minimal amount of $. The employees are very friendly and helpful and make a quick drop off possible. I will definitely go here again for my disposal needs.

1. Better prices than Sonoma County Landfill. $ 37/ton versus $ 53.20/ton for clean yard waste. Why go to Mecham Road anymore(especially since they’ve closed the compost sales)? 2. Free cold water on hot days. What? Bonus! 3. Loaner tools in the event you forgot your broom, shovel, hay rake, etc. It keeps getting better. 4. Totally friendly folks(especially Tess in the Scale House) who actually appear to genuinely appreciate your business! Sooo glad my friend turned me on to this place(often called Industrial Carting). Easy to get to off Todd Road and the 101, just up the street(North) from Friedman’s.

We’ve been here several times while remodeling our home. The people have always been nice. The people in the booth are nice, on hot days they give out cold bottles of water. All the people I’ve dealt with there were friendly.

I didn’t get past the phone conversation with a B****H named Robin(who knows if that’s her name). The first time I called, she hung up on me. The second time I called, she denied talking to me. I don’t have time for rudeness. This is to the owner of Global Materials: I would highly recommend firing employees like Robin, and hiring people that have an education level higher than a turkey. Or better yet, hire someone that has some customer services skills, and move her to a room that she won’t be seen or heard.

Watch the employees, the person who weights your items gives the weight to the ticket employee. The numbers seem to differ from the weight to the written ticket amount., In a negative for the customer.
