Went to the Gathering Spot for Happy Hour… was excited to try sushi and have a cocktail. We were very disappointed because after 15 minutes sitting at a table we were never served… not even a menu. We will never be back.

Love the cheeseburger! Also tried the homemade chips. Had a refreshing Cesar salad yesterday, light dressing which I liked. Happy this place is in the resort where I’m staying.

Came here before heading out to check what’s in town. We had the tuna sashimi, pretty small portions for the price. Nothing special about the fish tacos. Shrimp pesto was pretty good. Rainbow roll is good but again, small portion for the price.

Something has changed at The Gathering Spot. Since we were there last, about a month ago, the best happy hour on 30-A has been revamped for the worse. They slashed the number of rolls offered to 2, cut the number of wines offered to 3 and dramatically expanded what was a simple, well done menu that appears on the surface to be an attempt to cater to every one. Go back doing a few things really well and improve the happy hour options or risk losing the lifeblood of your business… regulars like my wife and I.
